25,500 at the game. Great crowd, proves pricing structure to blame all along for poor crowds and more importantly, once again, bates was wrong. I'd love to be there
Not necessarily pricing structure, more value for money. We were getting 30 000 with the expensive prices in 10/11, because we were entertaining to watch and were winning a lot of games.
You all must watch this .....
But we only had 19k against top of tackle Cardiff on a Saturday. Surely mainly down to reduced prices
It's down to reduced prices because people now see us as value for money again. We're playing ****e, so drop the prices and you have value for money again. That's what I meant.
The extra 6k makes a hell of a difference at Elland road. Stadium looks crap when half empty. More importantly this will hopefully attract more youngsters back. They're the future for the club
That's the whole point of the kids for a 5er. How many parents will have been able to bring their kids for nowt using their membership vouchers? I'm sure there'll have been plenty. Sounds like everything at Elland Road was positive tonight. The crowd, the performance, the result. Instead of just scraping by 1-0, we outplayed Blackpool, created chances and put some away. Sounds like Morison and Tonge had great games.
