You can have all the money, police, broadcasters, bureaucrats, corporate sponsors and corrupt sexist dictators in football that you want. Five of those are potentially good things. But football at all levels should be run for the fans. It's about time that a set of fans without a (particular) reputation for bad behavior peacefully stood up and said "this is the way it is going to be."
I think that by now I have made my feelings known on the paymaster of English football. Leicester fans have had another fixture moved with their home game against Brum brought forward to the Friday. They are now left with just two home games scheduled for 3.00pm on a Saturday, and one of those is against us. Their last home Saturday 3.00pm game was December 22nd. This takes no account of the fans, especially the young ones who cannot always stay up for these matches. It seems from the attitude of the FL that they are being dictated to, but they accepted the money and now have to live with the consequences. Fans come second to the mighty £ yet again.
Went to a contest at Watford Town Hall and won. Mega celebrations. Quite mundane for you folks probably, but for me it was brilliant
