http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-21511904 In the last 10 years, hundreds of thousands of white people have left London... ...but why? White people are now the minority in London - 45% of the population.
All the white people have left London, yet Polish is now the 2nd most spoken language? It's white British, which is fairly vague, when you consider the cosmopolitan nature of the city.
It's why London is one of the world's greatest cities. Try visiting Belfast where immigration is the lowest in the UK and citizens of the cultural duopoly still burn people of different ethnicities out of their homes - and see where you'd prefer to live.
The bottom line is that it's simply not cool to live in London anymore. It's so 1990's don't you know.
London is one of the best cities in the World, i live in Newham and there are no white English here... I don`t like many white English so it doesn`t matter... When we open up to Bulgaria and Romania then we will be swamped by new arrivals
Lots of people get married or have kids or both and then move the home counties as they get more for their money and it's often a better quality of life for the kids as the schools are often less populated, roads are safer as they're emptier and you get that nice, safe suburban feel.. But we won't say that - we'll just say it's because all native Londoners are racist ****s who are scared of Johnny Foreigner. London's great but, like any big city, it's not always the easiest place to live in.
London seems to be a city of extremes. Some aspects are great, some awful. A place I like to visit but not somewhere I'd want to live.
I think the answer to this pertinent question was best answered in the lyrics to Bad Manners' 1980 hit 'Lip Up Fatty'
