The chance of an all welsh final has decreased but it's not over till the fat lady sings. If Cardiff do not manage to get back in the game and win it does anyone know how this would affect Oli's position. Will he be coming back? Is that Gerrards pay rise out the window? Will Gerrard suddenly start to show enthusiasm to return to the mighty tigers. Something to discuss for tomorrow by the look of it so far.
aye, Cardiff blown it again by the looks of it. old Seyi Oilyvagina looks tidy in midfield though, keeping it nice & simple. still a big softy though, wont put a tackle in. with Cardiff staying in the championship, should we move in for Gerrard ? i read somewhere that cardiff want ã3m for him.. he's worth ã1.5m max for me. we can probably get ayala & hobbs together for ã2m
Olofinjana probably cardiffs best player so far and plenty of rumour about the likes of qpr so I don't think we would have too much trouble getting rid of him in the summer. Worst case scenario would be we keep him and get a very useful championship player, albeit an expensive one.
Well QPR were interested in Oli supposedly and other lower prem teams may be interested. The Gerrard question is an interesting one, he would be ideal captain material for a squad with no obvious captain, in 90% of games for us last season he was class. However his lack of pace is the only thing that makes me a little dubious, when next to chester who also has little pace (albeit reads the game brilliantly). I know they were fine together when they played this season, but if we were to get promoted two slow centre halves wouldnt be ideal.
It was reported the other week that the Allams no longer want to fund our players to play for other clubs, so it looks like Bullard Oli etc will be in our squad if they don't leave on permanents. Which suggests we won't be looking to recoup much/anything in terms of transfer fees for them.
