I dud manage to get to Norwich,Derby & Coventry away this season and half dozen home games when I haven't been working. Is it true MM has been installed as 2nd fav for the West Ham job? Find it hard and frustrating that upto date news is hard to find outside of the WO and club websites ! Have to rely on you guys for info ... Anyone have any transfer rumours from the club ?
He was 6/1 this afternoon for the West Ham job, but i haven't heard anything for a couple of hours. Nor have i heard any transfer rumours today...it's a bit like the calm before the storm! Twitter is a great source of information if you want to find news
Welcome to the boards Watfordcobbler. On the Malky front. No disrespect to West Ham, who are quite possibly my favourite London club (although it's hard not to grudgingly admire what Ferguson has done with his South London outfit). But while it's fair to say that we're an unattractive proposition, you would have to be crazy to leave employment to go to West Ham under the current circumstances. A large proportion of players are going to demand transfers, some unsuccessfully. The fans will expect automatic promotion, whereas I think the playoffs would be par for the course under the circumstances. I won't criticise the board, because I don't think they're as bad as many would make out, but it is fair to say that their reputations precede them. I hope Malky doesn't leave us for another Championship club, period. But if he ever does, I hope that he at least plomps for a club that is in the black.
