In the first League Cup final held at Wembley, second-half goals from Roger Morgan, Rodney Marsh and Mark Lazarus gave Rangers a famous victory over the holders.

This year's final sees another David v Goliath clash, when League Two side Bradford face Premier League opponents Swansea on Sunday.

My dad bought me a poster of the team from a streetseller with "imitation" autographs on it....on my wall till I left home...still have it in the attic

Nice one Northy. Not seen this for a few years. Saw the semis but was stationed in Germany and couldn't get back for the final. Still got the scrapbook I made of press cuttings and cartoons.

 

I've got the Evening Standard League Cup edition front page of the team framed on my loo wall in the office. Slightly faded now but our still our finest hour

Still got the programme (slightly dog-eared now and held together with sellotape) as well as the semi one against Brum.....My late father had tears of joy running down his face at the end......

To think it is now almost 46 years ago and still our finest day....
