Fair comments. Good luck to you too The ref seemed ok in the first half, then i think he suddenly realised he'd forgotten what a happy carded ref he was supposed to be and whipped them out for no reason constantly. Absolutely shocking refereeing again...rubbish officials do not help games! Meanwhile, we were all over them in the first half but they got much stronger in the second and we were all praying for that second goal, which was indeed against the run of play. We deserved the win, but we won ugly over the 90 minutes. Still, as long as we keep grinding out the results...etc etc (can't even think it, let alone say it lol..don't want to jinx it!) Bring on Derby...let's hope we can smash 'em back!
Yes it sounded a lucky win in a way.... they are all saying though we were best team at portman rd this season?...
Ipswich manager Mick McCarthy: "We were beaten by a very good side. They're as good as I've seen this season in this league. "We did all right to keep it to two and worked very hard, but Watford were quality and sometimes you have to hold your hands up and admit you were beaten by the better side. Fair enough I would have thought.
we were wonderful to watch in the first half, but we started getting scrappy in the second...being led by their way of playing rather than keeping to our own game plan...it was almost desperate at times which i didn't understand...there were some very good performances though. Strong from Ekstrand, Cassetti, Anya, Deeney and Geijo did very well when he came on. Chalobah was having a poor night, though Hogg was strong and his strike that hit the crossbar would have been an incredible goal!
Thanks! Love your signature! Showed it to Mrs GG (Town fan) and she loved it too. When Mick M joined you I told her you'd be alright.
I hope so too. He gets some serious stick in training when he scores apparently. So it would be great for him to get one in a match.
