Would anyone have him back? I may get slated for this but I would take him if Wigan go down, he may have left us a couple of years ago but he would be perfect for LW because we know Ben Arfa will be playing behind the striker next season so I think N'Zogbia could do a brilliant job. He has skills, pace, good crossing and he is a decent finisher.

    Thoughts?

I kind of agree tbh, he's got talent, we all know that, and we already have Barton at the team and it's not like he's wandering about stabbing people.

He could be a good LB if Enrique leaves.

True that, but he seems more of a winger, sunday being the perfect example of that.

I would love him back, I was gutted when we lost him tbh.

Definately not at left back though, that would be a real waste of his talent.

I would play the Zog left with Ben Arfa in the free role just behind a new striker. If we still have Enrique next season with that formation, the left hand side of our team will be devastating.

Yes. Quality player and seems to have grown up (well a little bit). We all say and do things we regret so if he's man enough to come back then hell yeah.

I have to admit a midfield like this would be incredible:

    Barton--Tiote
    N'Zogbia--Ben Arfa--Gutierrez

    How about:

    Barton--Tiote
    N'Zogbia--Ben Arfa--Messi

    ?

Or should we try for Cristiano instead?

Would have him back before you could say Insomnia! Loved the guy, gutted he left, but can't see him returning.
Anyone see his two goals against West Ham? Both quality!

Young will go to a team playing in Europe next season, that rules Liverpool out. They might get Downing tho.

Definitely yes! I never really understood the stick he got from us when he left. I think he genuinely understood the club - even if he did leave in an odd situation. He repeatedly thanked and apologised to the fans and also praised everyone for helping him through but he realised it was getting worse every season (which it was) and that he couldn't take it anymore. I understand that, especially considering he wasn't seen by any manager we ever had (other than Roeder and SBR) as a 'key' player and never had a major connection with the fans because of it.

4 million would be a Ben Arfa-esque bargain. If Wigan go down they'll sell for about nine million I reckon.

Wish you could do our deals instead of Carr mate, 1.5mil for Ba and 4 mil for N'Zogbia, bargains!

I mean we had a 10mil bid apparently turned down in Jan but that doesn't mean anything apparently.
