Oops indeed Charlie. Will we be seeing more of you now? We've missed you for the past month or so. Can't think for the life of me why...
Absolutely. I remember speaking to a friend back in October when we were second and saying we'll probably blow it. We did, but then made up seven points over second in a few weeks in January. Now we've blown it again! But I wouldn't put it beyond us to get back up there again. This is going to be a memorable season and I wouldn't be surprised if a few of us are in with a shout on the final day. Then the play-offs will be insane!
About two or three weeks back I said to a couple of my mates that I thought Leicester wouldn't lose another game this season and would walk second and maybe push for first. Goes to show that I know next to **** all. Not on the rise but how did my good mate Mr James play tonight? I need to fill in my chart and assess the number of pins in the doll you see.
He was OK. Far from the worst performer. Drinkwater messed up for the first, second goal Knocky (who was pretty awful) gave the ball away, but it still required a bit of brilliance from 20 yards. Apart from that, they didn't do much, although Kermo won far too many headers for my liking.
Plenty of twists and turns yet pal. This is going to get very, very interesting. Wood was looking the difference between the sides but Gedo ( which is pronounced Gaydo unfortunately) has hit the ground running, thank ****. Still think a point will separate the two sides come the day of reckoning.
I have a horrible feeling that after all the banter between us about who will finish second, it will end being Watford and some random side end up winning the play-offs. Still, if that happens, we can do it all again next season.
The thought had crossed my mind as well. ****ing Watford. I used to play for a team when I was a nipper that played in the full Watford strip, badge and everything. That has absolutely no relevance to this 'conversation' but thought I'd share that with you. Time for me to hit the hay.
By the way, anyone who believes in patterns, the last time we lost three in row (both times including cup matches), we ended the poor run with a victory over Blackpool. We have them next.
