Nowhere in that article does Wenger say that he signed Walcott over Bale.People should read the whole thing rather than just the headline
Bale is a quality player, but I wouldn't swap Walcott for him. Ideally as an Arsenal fan, it would be best if Bale were to play alongside Walcott, wearing his beloved Arsenal shirt
Saying you prefer a team over another, especially when they're both in the Premier league is meaningless. This all stems from (what I believe) is an old friend of Bales saying he was the Spurs fan and Bale was the Arsenal fan. What you don't account for is the fact that when all comes to a head, Bale was born a Cardiff fan, lived a Cardiff fan, and is probably still a Cardiff fan. Because the Premier League is the best league in the World, everyone picks their teams. For example, I grew up surrounded by United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal 'fans', who had Swansea season tickets, bought the Swansea kit, and the day Swansea got promoted, dropped their 'second' team, and fully support Swansea in the Premier League, against all the other teams they once called their team. Making the Bale is an Arsenal fan statement absolute Arse...
i Already tild Piskie that Bale was an Cardiff fan, but as usual he denied it bacause it didn't fit his Bulls*** story
Don't take my word for it Tinytots, read what his closet friends said. From Sam Warburton, Gareth Bale's old school friend and from Theo Walcott who was his room mate and former team mate at Southampton. So Tinytots, are they Bullshitting too ?
Where does it say it was his own dream to play for Arsenal? Just because Warburton says that he supported them, it doesn't necessarily mean he was as devout a fan as your making out. Unless you've ever followed a lower league team closely, and been in close contact with those who have, you can't really judge their relationships with the bigger UK clubs. Having personally watched the transition of a Football League (post-1992) club into a Premier League club, and seen how the change of attitude towards their previous 'Top division' team manifests itself, I personally am 100% confident that Bale doesn't cry into his pillow every night about playing in White instead of Red. Whether you want to take what I've said on board or not, personally I don't give a toss.
I never said out that he was a devout fan who cries into his pillow at night, they are your words. I just pointed out where his friends and fellow professionals recalled their accounts of him being an Arsenal fan
Button it you silly old woman I am talking about both and responding to you spuds silly questions and comments. Now that's what you call multi tasking
