Absolutely no protection in front of our back line,as usual when our opponents get the the ball they go straight down the throats of our defence, boys versus men I'm afraid.
Hi, I normally post on the F1 forum, but this is sad to see. It is like watching Williams, or Schumacher in recent years. Sad for Wenger also.
It is what it is. A team miles clear on top of the Bunderliga against a team scrabbling around for a CL place in the PL and miles of a title challenge. A cynic could blame Wenger for being unrealistic and say he should of played his strongest team on Saturday in a trophy he might be able to win but hindsight is a rare gift i'm afraid.
This is kinda of sad though, a few years ago we might have given teams like Bayern a good game. Its not even close now a days.
Man City finished below Ajax, Chelsea went out in the group stages. You're right, English football is doing so well.
Ye you can see why they don't concede many. That's probably why Robben don't get in the team as he rarely tracks back
I don't see why people are so shocked, Bayern are arguably one of the Champions League contenders. The English leagues are weaker and less well financially managed. Look at Van Buyten, quality player and loyal servant but cost far less than some of Arsenal's signings. To be fair the referee has not helped, so many bookings already!
