Hello all, One for me 3.45 Rowlestone Lad @ 8/1 Right, this is all about the Home Run form from my selections penultimate start, a race that has worked out very well. He was beaten by Home Run by just over six lengths, finishing a fair third, and the form has worked out like this - 1 - Home Run - win, second, second - up 17lbs (+ more for close second at Taunton) 2 - win, eighth - up 7lbs 3 - Rowlestone Lad - fourth in NH Jumpers Bumper 4 - second 5 - unraced 6 - second in Jumpers Bumper Rowlestone Lad went into that race on the back of a saunter in selling grade, and races off the same mark here as from that effort, and he has the claim of T Flint (won on him in the seller) in this race, meaning he is carrying hardly any weight and I think they can put this field to the sword with a positive ride. He also has the back form to suggest that the mark is fair, including a fair second to Joseph Lister and a win in a novice hurdle over Swaledale Lad, and I think the odds compilers have got this one wrong. It is worth noting that he improved this winter because he had a back operation in the summer, and perhaps he hasn't reached his peak yet.
Kempton 6.00 King Oval 25/1 Watch the market, stable love to land a gamble and I have heard his first couple of runs this season where just to get him fit. Is tomorrow the day he goes in? well I will take a chance at 25s and have a gamble it just might be, though he could of been drawn better. If its not tomorrow then it will be soon. Good Luck
BRINGEWOOD BELLE 14-1 4.15 Ludlow is my main fancy tomorrow. Having had a spin round Ffos Las on Boxing Day she will be spot on tomorrow. You cant do much better than have James Best on board in a conditionals race and the fact that the handicapper has seen fit to drop her 7lbs for a pipe opener means she is now off lower than her last winning mark. Trip and ground is no problem and she looks certain to run a big race at a big race. There is money for SIX SILVER LANE 8-1 6.00 Kempton and its hardly surprising given that he is now 8lbs lower than his last two wins. To add to his chances he has a handy 7lbs coming off his back for his claimer and he also has a first time visor. My only doubt is the trip as its further than he has won over recently but if seeing it out he has a great chance. He is a winner in Ireland over the trip on good to firm.
OLAV..........draw not really an issue Gallop as he is a front/prominent runner, Rule 4 coming as Tadbeer (11-2) doesnt go!
Stick, headgear race is the 4.15, three running with forms on for the first time and most of the field wearing something or another. Two of field are not wearing anything (including tongue ties), out of a field of thirteen that says a good amount. Interesting selection and good luck.
If by "interesting" you mean no chance........thats a damn relief and I shall have some more on! (why isnt it 4-1 +)
Bloody hell Cheltenian is running tomorrow! edit and taking on New Years Eve, Snake Eyes and Minella Fortifiness
Yep, cracking card at Donny for a Wednesday - that bumper horse of Ferguson's which Sir Barney mentioned today is going in the last as well
Might be worth taking a bit of 40/1 on Cheltenian for the Supreme tonight, just in case he hoses up tomorrow.
Plenty of opinions for tomorrow already...so just to muddy the waters a little bit more i will throw one in....... In the 3.55 at Doncaster its JETNOVA , fit from a couple of bumpers, tomorrow is the day he returns to the winners enclosure i'm sure he can win this. 10/1 BOG BET365.
Taken a fiver e/w at 40/1 on Cheltenian for the Supreme - I've got nothing in the race atm so this might add a bit of longer term interest
Some top quality tipping on here in recent weeks so I have decided to put my faith in you guys with the following £1 Yankee... Rowlestown Lad 8/1 Bringewood Belle 14/1 Jetnova 10/1 Marufo 9/2 Placed with Bet365 so best price guaranteed Good luck
Oddy, if you do put a bit of loose change on then make sure you have the same stake on him for the Neptune. (He is shorter on Betfair for the Neptune)
Might be worth a few bob Oddy but I think the supreme looks pretty hot this year. Agree with Toppy, given how long he's been off the track it might be worth covering the Neptune he might now need a longer trip and the other obvious advantage is not having to face My Tent Or Yours.
