    From the Evil Post

SEAN O'Driscoll has no intention of trying to meet fire with fire when Bristol City take on promotion-chasing Crystal Palace in the Championship at Selhurst Park tonight.

"We cannot go out and play the same way as Palace and throw caution to the wind, because we don't have those kind of players. If we do not make ourselves hard to beat and play an open game, the best sides in the Championship will punish us.

"Our best chance is to be organised, hard to break down and hard-working. We came very close to getting something at Leeds playing that way and were well in the game at Blackburn until the 65th minute.

I really fear for tonight, as if the midfield he plans on packing performs anywhere near as badly as on Saturday we are in for a real hiding tonight. I cannot understand how SOD feels we cannot compete as an attacking force, if Baldock & Davies are fit and we start with Albert then we can be an attacking force (anyone remember the game at the Gate in August??) but if we start with square ball Marv and co we will get a right pasting as the defence is not good enough to sustain constant pressure. I know we have kept successive clean sheets at home, but away from home we have been poor, and if we don't set out our stall to score how can we expect to win. Far too negative for me and has already handed the initative to Palarse

I think SOD is a little more subtle than to give the Evil Post his plan against Crystal Palace, he surely won't repeat his failures against Cardiff, I will be looking to see if he starts with Adomah, if he does the plan is different.

I hope we stick it right up Hollowhead but I think we're heading for a disappointment tonight..

Realistically I expected us to lose at Cardiff and at Palace. They are both up there for a reason and we are where we are too for a reason.
A point would be a good result. Any more would be fantastic.

2 tough away games - anything we get would be a bonus - the BIG game is Saturday

Every game from here on in is a big game and if we are going to decide which games to show up and play a possible winning game then we are doomed.

Each game where we drop a point is another nail in our coffin and we need to put in a full effort for every game otherwise there is no point in showing up. The drop is looming larger every day and we need to take our "A" game out for all matches for the rest of our season and unless we do, then we all know the outcome.

Mike, I hope you weren't interpreting my comment as these games don't matter.
I have merely set my own expectations as a FAN - meaning that I wont go all 'doom and gloom' and 'SoD OUT' if, as I expect, we are turned over.
