It'll be one of those games where we have to be clinical on the counter. We have the players to hurt them, it's just we have to hit the ground running. No sloppiness at the back, though i reckon it will be a more solid affair. Playing a top team and the loss in the weekend should get them pumped.
The problem with that is we are not a very clinical team. We score a decent numbers of goals but a chances/goals conversion ratio is one of the weakest in Europe. Walcott and Podolski need to be at their best tonight.
I had a dream last night that we where winning 1-0 and then i woke up, i'm thinking it was around the 70 minute mark, so i'm predicting 1-0 to the Arsenal!
Our home record in the Champions League was something to shout about before this season. But in the three homes games we have played in the CL this season, none of the performances have been convincing and we have already been outplayed by a German team visiting the Emirates this season.
We are playing better now so that is cause for some optimism. Had we played our 3 best players and still lost against Balckburn, then i would be really worried. But i am more positive now that they are back.
That's true, I suppose. Walcott did not feature in any of the CL home games this season, while Jack only played against `Montpellier and we did win that game, with Jack also getting on the score-sheet.
Bitter **** Stewart Robson sticking the knife in before the game. He hasn't got over losing his media job at Arsenal. In this interview the **** talks about Wenger having no tactics, yet when Robson was doing his media job at Arsenal, part of it was called 'talking tactics'. Who gives this **** the time to pollute the air waves with his bile ? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21502920
I am expecting a huge reaction from the players. I'm hoping we catch BM a bit cold tonight and give them a humping. Just my little dream. I think they are going to try and come out and play football against us, and there is just a chance that their pride might be their undoing.
Arsenal: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Vermaelen; Arteta, Ramsey; Cazorla, Wilshere, Podolski; Walcott. Arsenal subs: Mannone, Diaby, Rosicky, Giroud, Ox-Chamberlain, Coquelin, Jenkinson
BAYERN TEAM: Neuer; Lahm, Van Buyten, Dante, Alaba; Javi MartÃnez, Schweinsteiger; Muller, Kroos, Ribery; Mandzukic Bayern Subs: Starke Robben Shaqiri Rafinha, Luiz Gustavo, Gomez Tymoshchuk
If Ramsey is played out on the wing, then I might just lose my mind. He needs to play alongside Arteta and allow Jack to do what he does. Also Gervinho not even named on the bench after his performance against Blackburn.
Bob Wilson on 5 Live telling the world what a bitter **** Stewart Robson is Although he stopped short of actually calling him a **** . .
