Has no one mentioned the quality racing at Navan?

That Champion Hurdler Thousand Stars gets a prep run in. 4/9 is about right though so it's either a double with Rubi Light or a no bet.

Purple Bay has just been declared to run tomorrow in the ‘lucky last’ at Donny so we should find out pretty soon if the old rumours are true re this one.

A number of interesting 4YOs in that race Sir Barney, plus Barry Geraghty on a Kris Kin gelding for Henry Daly. Should be a most informative contest <ok>

I like him a lot and was hoping he would qualify for the Pertemps Final but alas he was withdrawn from the final qualifier at the weekend.

That was over 3m and I think todays trip may be too short around Taunton even on heavy ground.I'm not sure where the pace is going to come from unless Barizan reverts to his old style of running.

Hopefully Oscar Nominee runs well and gets an entry for the Coral Cup at the Festival.

I think he's one to follow regardless of what happens today.

Prickles 1.40 Wetherby. Not a prolific winner but can go well today in this contest. Expect a bold showing.

12/1 shot now. I haven't tipped him as such just flagged him up. He takes on Oscar Nominee and a big run from Barizan today could really set him up for a festival handicap but I don't know if he's in any?!? Is anyone in a position to check?

That is annoying, I was expecting CG to be a live contender in a handicap at the festival.

Yep, I was expecting them to throw in a run at Cheltenham too, given that he is a festival winner. I guess that is not on the cards now.

Aren't we expecting handicap entrants today?
