Your tips for the Cheltenham Festival Championship Races

    Pretty straightforward idea - put up your tips for each of the 4 Championship races at the festival (Champion Hurdle, Champion Chase, World Hurdle, Cheltenham Gold Cup). I'll collate all the tips and pull together the "most fancied" table for each race.

    Here's my starter for 10:

    CH - Hurricane Fly
    CC - Sprinter Sacre
    WH - Reve De Sivola
    CGC - Long Run

    Scores on the doors (upto and including post #35 from Wuby Ralsh):

    CH: Hurricane Fly (10), Zarkandar (9), Grandouet (4), Rock On Ruby (3), Countrywide Flame (2) Binocular (1)
    CC: Sprinter Sacre (29)
    WH: Oscar Whisky (9), Reve De Sivola (9), Monksland (3), Peddlers Cross (3), Bog Warrior (2), Celestial Halo (1), Get Me Out Of Here (1), Smad Place (1)
    CGC: Bobs Worth (10), Sir Des Champs (8), Silviniaco Conti (5), Long Run (3), First Lieutenant (2) Captain Chris (1)

    Summary 22nd Feb:

    We seem to have the Champion Hurdle as a 2 horse race between Hurricane Fly and Zarkandar with Rock On Ruby 3rd most popular.
    The mighty Sprinter Sacre seemingly only needs a clear round to land the Champion Chase.
    The World Hurdle is again looking like a match between Oscar Whiskey and Reve De Sivola with Monksland and Peddlers Cross next best.
    Also a match race envisaged by members in the Cheltenham Gold Cup with Bobs Worth and Sir Des Champs clear of the field although Silviniaco Conti is still within striking distance.

    Looks like we are a bunch of favourite backers <laugh>

    I have a 14/1 e/w ante post bet on Zarkandar but i also have a 7/2 win bet on Hurricane Fly... So any combination of these 2 winning would be nice... Though i would be hoping Zarkandar wins as its one of my favourite horses at the moment...<cheers>

    I havnt bet on any of the others...<ok>
