    Today I am having puy lentil and vine tomato soup with some roast chicken.

    Had porridge with banana and manuka for breakfast. Am cutting down on processed foods and reducing the red meat intake, need to sort my inards out now as I ain't been good for a couple of months and it's taking its toll. Found a few trigger points so am looking at that, should lead to a healthier me while I'm at it.

    Good stuff we all need to eat healthier at times. I need to get on it myself, it's great having holidays and enjoying good food, Easter is early this year so need a health kick and quick.

    Yeah, trouble is I just polished off half a pack of chocolate hob knobs which my foreman had left on my desk!! The bastard.

    No idea what to have for tea, was thinking of finding a pub showing the match tonight but I reckon I will settle for the radio and steer clear of houses of ill repute serving dirty beer.

    started a little healthy heating programme today and had porridge for breakfast and reminded myself just how bland and ****ing disgusting it is. Tried adding **** loads of cinnamon to it but didn't help, added sultanas and still didn't help. Had with a slice of granary toast and green tea. Lunch is this 'green club' sarnie from BBC good food, looks alright and probably tastes good as I'm starving, I thought Porridge fills you up - deceiving ****s.

    I bought oat so simple, but only plain ones. I'll have a gander at those though as I'm not forcing that tripe down me every morning. I'd kill for a full English now.

    Fresh berries go much better with porridge imo. Few blueberries and raspberries make it reasonably palatable, especially if they're nice and ripe. Dried fruit is a bad idea cos it's partially rehydrated oats with deydrated fruit - just doesn't mix imo.

    Got some nice minute steaks for tonight, just gotta get my tenderiser out later on.

    Oats so simple is nice, that's because it's got about two buckets full of sugar in it per sachet.

    I can only recommend this is everything is an aquired taste so there's no guarantee you'll like it but this is what I use;

    Tesco organic oats or Sainsbury's taste the difference organic oats. Use skimmed milk and microwave for about four or five minutes, it suddenly goes really creamy when it's all cooked. Handfull of blueberries and one full chopped banana and tablespoon of honey of some description to sweeted it up, stir in.

    Really nice and tasty porridge that it.

    Have a gander on this one, it's a cafe near where i live. Look at the gallery, I can't bring up a page of exactly what to look at.

    They do this "Mega beast" breakfast, never even contemplated trying it as it's ridicuous. Fat head students and rugger buggers like to have a go.

    Half of it is made up of about five portions of chips and three loaves of bread!
