Amus: "Mercedes has in his few laps in the morning again tested a passive DRS. In addition, the area around the exhaust tips is now dressed in black. We assume that there is a hitzebeständigeres material. Do you remember the pictures of Jerez. Since around the exhaust everything was scorched."

Williams already within 1 sec of their best 2012 laptime and Mercedes within 0.5 sec of their 2012 best. Encouraging start for both so early on day 1. What is the expected improvement in laptimes by teams from their 2012 cars?
A second? If you take into account better tyres, no DRS over the whole track and over the season updates 1.0-1.3 depending who you are
So now if the sauber has broken down that means the RB9 was the last car standing and not to have a problem? (so far)
BBC are that cheap they can't even do a text commentary for this? Will be interesting to see how quickly Alonso gets back up to speed in the new car
Nice solution if that's what it's for. Sauber really showing some innovation on their car this year. Hope it pays off for them.
