Metallica fans.... (Off Topic)

Discussion in 'General Chat' started by Heavy Metal Toon, May 17, 2011.

  1. If you don't like Metallica then i suggest leaving a one star and clicking the back button as it wont interest you...

Anyway, Metallica made this song leading up to their latest album Death Magnetic, but didn't include it in their album

This isn't them performing it, it's an amatuer band, but this is them performing the song that was never produced in a final recording, only on a demo disk.

Do you think Metallica should have put this on their album?

BTW - The vocalist in this band is ****ing awful, but try and focus on other aspects to the song. Remember Metallica wrote it, but another band is performing it

p.s. listen to more than 30 secs before judging it. There's a build up. The riffs are ****ing killer \m/

  3. It is, but this was the original song, but they decided not to go futher with it and they took the riffs from this song and used it on end of the line.

I'm pretty sure that opening bit is from one of the other songs on the album...the whole thing sounded the same to me anyway :)

Edit: Yeah missed the comment about End Of The Line...

As a side note and on this topic, seem as though you have now posted it, what are the lyrics in this chorus? I'm at work and can't listen to it.

In short, no because it is ****. They took the best part of it and made it into a better song.

Also, Tash can you please start listening to My Chemical Romance or something because you are an embarrassment to Metallica fans <ok>

Thats fair enough and your entitled to your opinion...as am I.....Some people are kicking off as its off topic thread but I dont mind you making off topic threads as there only so much you can talk about Newcastle until you have exhausted every issue...However posting about a single song maybe to far...

I dont even mind that sort of music however dont like the hardcore scream types, where they scream for 7 mins as they cant sing!!!

Enter shikari and we are the ocean are as far as i go in that genre!!!!

Same with riffs, look at Deftones, yet they're an amazing band. However The heaviest my rock/metal taste goes is Architects.

I remember listening to this on the build up to DM. They should of put on the record, I think it needed it. Not that keen on Death Magnetic, even the better quality version. 6/10. Has it moments.

Metallica were quality at Reading 08 though. Seeing them at Soni this year.

    Techno is not charva music

mákina was born in the early 90s in Valencia, Spain. Over the years it has progressed in speed and sound. It is now a worldwide genre of music with many Producers and DJ's. Clubs such as Chocolate, ACTV, Puzzle, Chasis, Pont Aeri, and many more, have played an important part helping Mákina become what it is today.

In 1999 Mákina became very popular in the North East, UK. Past clubs, After Dark 2, The New Monkey and Energize promoted the style. Present clubs Hanger 13, Northern Bounce and Deja Vu still hold regular Mákina parties. Mákina has also managed to find its way to Scotland with a club night called Dimensional in Glasgow.
    (from wikipedia)

I do not listen to this I just know about it because its what my brother who is a DJ mixes.

but this is the charva music your thinking of tash
