Bluey - there are some good 'uns on here no doubt, I wont name them not to embarrass anyone, but most of those on this thread are a bunch of hypocritical ****ers.

They have nothing better to do than find fault with something they would just love to have instead of that cattle run they currently occupy - and they can hardly get that half full. Pretty desperate times all round for the wurzel tribe.

Not a bit of wonder mind with the **** they get offered up on the pitch every week.

I didn't think the atmosphere was all that in the away end. Its a dog of stadium v ninian park or ashton gate that way sounds just escapes.

Sorry not impressed. even your own fans want to shift the family section in attempt to rouse something better.

I don't know why your trying to argue Sparky, some on here don't like your ground, you do so what's wrong with that.
Calling people numpties and critisising people who don't believe in what you do, ain't that narrow minded. What people are generally saying is yes well done you got a new ground and your team is prem bound, but if we get one we hope the club take on board that the fans want a design to generate good accoustics.

Sorry ROD, but I've not read this thread the way you're seeing it at all.

    **** ground, **** owners, **** fans - that's all I've seen from most.

Other take a more circumspect point of view, but read it again pal.

There have been surveys of Bristol City support via the supporters trust regarding a new stadium. The overwhelming majority of Bristol City fans want an enclosed design, the overwhelming majority do not want a bowl type build and the overwhelming majority want an area if I recall correctly with enhanced acoustics for vocal support.

Using the design of the stadium in Cardiff as a proposal for a new stadium or re-development of stands at Ashton Gate it would be critisised.

Amazing really, I go on there board to say well done for the win and good luck for the prem, Then say my piece about the police and get nothing but abuse and people claiming I was trying to start an agreement and I shouldn't go on there board again, Yet you get 2 of them come on here and insult our members on OUR board and they don't like a bit of criticism about there lego land ground which isn't aimed at them, Just rather peoples opinion <doh> unbelievable

Four years maybe longer ago a design was put in front of fans for AV. The st did do a survey on it and the things fans disliked were its lack of an end, acoustics and bowl shape as pointed out. This was the majority of fans from a sizeable survey.

What did Bristol City fan dislike saturday? The terrible acoutics which affected the atmosphere [wasn't good at all] and the bowl.

    Shiny City Lad

You were on our board all last week giving it large and being a total WUM. You didn't get the result you wanted so started off with a compliment but then descended into mouthing off and complaining about the police. I gave you the link for you to go direct to South Wales Police with your complaint. Have you used it?

By the way, I don't normally comment on words used but from your post above "trying to start an agreement"? I don't think so.

Sorry have to post this, copied and pasted off OTIB.. And it's all true.

Remember when Cardiff were a proud club, with a reputation? A club who would stick their middle finger up to everyone and didn't care that no one liked them.

Now your just a bunch of lady boy sell outs. I can't believe what I witnessed yesterday and I can't believe you lot have rolled over and took it.

    Comical

If I won Euromillions I'd buy your club and your shirts would be pink with giant dildos on the front. Half time entertainment would be giant dildos dancing around

    And you'd accept it.

    New Ninnies ..

The ascetics are poor … They are.

The finish is cheap … It is.

The acoustics are rubbish … They are.

The atmosphere was crap … It was.

It has flags for a foreign country and its culture but not Wales and its capitals football club … It has.

Am allowed to say it looks like a warehouse from the outside without being called lemon?

And still they come back for more punishment - this thread has become a bloody classic. <ok>

Let's have a look at the facts guys, not pie in the sky wish lists that centre on some survey done 4 years ago to assess what supporters wanted.

Just ask what exactly have you got? Answer - a resounding **** all.

Nothing tangible, just a load of nimbys, councillors and businessmen looking for a return on their investment arguing over planning issues whilst you lot get orgasmic clutching at computer generated images portraying the "ideal" you dream about.

A piece of paper like a letter to father Christmas setting out the preferred choice that probably any supporter in the land would ascribe to. Everybody would like to retain the old style of ground with a mixture of terracing and seats that resound to the crowd noise - it's so bloody obvious, and you lot think you've just re-invented the wheel.

You preach from your lofty pedestal with your supercilious (that means haughty disdain for you bog dwellers) attitudes that make you look so crass. At the same time you watch your football, if that's what your call it, from a derelict edifice that would be better off with Semtex rather than redevelopment.

Ashton Gate be ****ed - more like Cow and Gate with it's occupants let out of their prams spitting out their rusks at the success over here. You're coming across like a bunch of nursery candidates.

Not all of you admitted, but even Wizey has to resort to posting images with pathetic comments on the thread in an attempt to rabble rouse the occupants, and what do we get - more bloody rusks flying everywhere......<laugh>

In the meantime, you carry on watching a bunch of no-hopers hoofing it into League One at a gallop, from a collection of sheds better suited to the third world you occupy, with yet another manager tasked with the impossible, by an owner who ****ed off to Guernsey to count his dosh.

....and you continue with your supercilious (there's that word again guys) crap posts - you couldn't make it up!!

Live the dream guys - we are. :emoticon-0103-cool:

I cant really comment too much about Saturdays visit as I couldn't make it.

I did phone the Ticket office on Friday night and asked a nice lady there if I could buy a ticket.

She said, "I'm sorry we've sold out!"

I said "yeah I know, but do you have any tickets left!" <laugh>
