Could have been worse lads, got to have a chance of progressing once again although I am sure it's going to be a much tougher game than it would have been a month or so ago.
We've met Blackburn twice in the cup before, both times at home and both times we lost! 3rd time lucky?
We'll do it...our crowd giving it all and singing our heads off. Heard a great story from our meet in 2002... when some car clamper decided to clamp fans' cars after we shipped the deciding goal late on.... and they came back and he was still there.
I remember it well. Think Blackburn scored a last minute Andy Cole winner and these clampers had targeted about 50 cars down Cold Blow Lane. They were still sitting in there van smirking away at their days work - but the smirks soon dissappeared Remember the driver trying to call the OB as their van was violently rocking from side to side and then all of a sudden the mobile phone disappeared into the sunset. More and more fans kept arriving and I have never seen 2 people **** theirselves like those 2 did - OB turned up and advised them to unclamp the cars for their own safety - needless to say, the cars were released, and they were never seen again
I remember a mate of mine was walking along well pissed off that we had lost and saw the start of the commotion, he gave the clampers what for and said 'people power' won the day, it was then he admitted he never had the car that day and just joined the fray to forget about the defeat
That's it TC. The only other bit I heard was that the clampers control centre told them not to do the cars....and the OB giving the clampers a right rollicking for clamping Millwall fans' cars. Understand there was little left of the van and the clampers came out through the smashed windscreen. Urban legend.
Just bagged my ticket Members from today http://www.millwallfc.co.uk/news/article/fa-cup-tickets-members-can-buy-now-too-665884.aspx
I wouldn't worry too much about Blackburn, it looks like several of their first team are going to miss the next couple of months anyway... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21573525
I noticed that earlier OLM and they also have 3 tough games befoe the quarter-final(we have two), although knowing our luck some unknown youth player will get a start and bag a hatrick, so in a way it might had been better in they had stayed injury free.
So they would have to buy them separately on the website? Not good if you want to sit together. I thought general sale was as many as you wanted not just the one.
Got our tickets today too, west upper (Barry Kitch) block 4, lovely. Sure that general sale is usually as many as you want
Fair enough So my little ****ing beauties, get your arses down there, pack the den to the rafters to get the place rocking to frighten the **** out of Blackburn and cheer our boys onto Wembley Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
