You played well yesterday against Swansea. You had 36 shots on goal which is the most so far in a premiership match. If you keep up, would you think a 4th place is a distinct possibility?
No. Spurs and Arsenal would have to have a disastrous end to the season. We are far more likely to **** up more than them between here and the end.
not for me left it too late for us too realistically get top 4. as Ziggy said Arsenal and Spurs would have to **** up big style and don't see it. top 5-6 is possible for us this season, as long as we get some consistency ie play well one week then ruddy lose the next, we should manage it hopefully.
We should be aiming for the title after a game like that! It's still mathematically possible if we beat everyone and everyone above us loses/draws to each other I think we could just about make the title! YNWA I'm taking the piss, please don't take it seriously.
Had we beaten Arsenal, which we should have done, and also not ****ed up against WBA then we could have this discussion. as it is we're 9 points off spuds and they've a game in hand. not going to happen. If we got 5th that would be an incredible season imho
Absolutely! We are on 39pts with eleven games to go meaning we can get to 72pts come the end of the season. I can't see Man Utd getting the seven points they need now
No doubt HIAG is copying these for his mouser thread but will leave out the sarcasm As bad as we've been at times, 5th would be a great finish, but when you look at how the league in general has been performing, we should be closer to the CL spots if not in them, I am basing this on how we've done when we're playing well. As things stand we've under achieved by a margin. If the league maintains this season's form next year I would be expecting 4th next year without a doubt. We absolutely need a quality striker in the summer, we've no cover at all for Sturridge and Suarez, if both are out we have problems. We have a lack of quality depth in 2 key areas. Defence and Strikers that we need to look at in the summer.
Arsenal needs to beat Spurs, we also need to beat Spurs..Arsenal and Spurs have to have a bad run taking less than 8 points from possible 30 each,It has to be a miracle,

It wasn't really on before we lost to WBA, its still not on now, we're 7th right now? be surprised if we finished higher than 6th.
First we should focus on getting in to the top 6. We are 7th now. 3 points below 6th but with far superior goal difference.
