Assuming we go down and Leeds don't get promoted, should we offer Colin another go at it ? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21494362?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed
Why would he come back? He knows we'd get rid as soon as he got us promoted! Plus he'd want to bring party boy back with him. No and no.
We'd never know, of course, but I have found myself wondering what would have happened had Mr Fernandes persevered with Warnock instead of replacing him with Hughes. Perhaps he'd have kept the Rs up too, perhaps not. Perhaps relegation would have happened, but we'd all now be excited as the Rs once again led the Chamionship. Better still, perhaps we'd be performing at least as well as (say) Norwich or Stoke or Fulham in the PL, rather than now hoping against hope that Redknapp pulls off a miracle. Like I say, we'll never know, but I do find myself wondering. Mark Sodding Hughes.
I think the club should go and get a young man for the job after Harry as all these older men are not always the answer.
Warnock would take great delight in telling TF to shove the job up his jacksie (I know I would in his position)...
No way. He would have kept us up IMO and we'd be in a much better position now but been there, done that. Never look back. Harry or Toad-Face.
If we go down (although i don't want us to and still believe) then TF and the Board plus Arry owe it to us fans to get the job done properly stay and get us back up at first attempt (like Newcastle). No fancy players that won't work in the Championship but proper players that will get us up. No way to NW as that is history and wouldn't want back.
Thats like asking if I want a gay marriage to Swords. Adkins will be long gone by the summer, possibly to Leeds. If we did go up, wed have to sack him again and wed go through the same turmoil once more. We need someone who can manage in the PL and NPC.
I agree Harry would hopefully get us straight back up. Adkins looks like he could be a manager with some time and a bit of money be the next top manager.
Even if he did, wed have to sack him again and risk getting another manager like hughes who could set us back years.
