    From NUFC.com

Vocal support from the Strawberry Corner for the home side was excellent but the other loutish behaviour was less so - some cupid stunts marking Valentine's Day....

Were there any arrests made over the smoke bomb incident?

It's a bit of a surprise they were able to get them into the ground, I thought all bags/packages were checked these days.

Looks like some idiots won't be seeing any games for a while.

I see our streaker still manages to get to the games, I thought he would have been banned after his last escapade at a Euro game.

The person should be put in jail for longer and longer sentences every time he gets on.

He's obviously embarrassed about the size of his right foot because he's left his sock on.

    the thing is
as a 3 year season ticket holder I have more to lose if I got involved in anything like this
on the other hand what has a £15.00 ticket holder got to lose
on these occasions everyone should be searched

    not good at all,
what are they going to do with the flares when they are finished, they're not going to hold onto them, are they
so someone will get a nice hot flare thrown off their head
as was seen in the rescent game against Man City,
many complaints went into the club regarding this and the Manu flare
so we can't be thinking this is ok for us and not them
you come to watch the game not watch your backs

Complete and utter thoughtless madness. What did they think they could get out of it?

MA will no doubt get a fine so I doubt it it'll be allowed to happen again.

I'd hazard a guess the mong wasn't a season ticket older and was just out to cause bother.

I seen the flare get thrown from whoever lit it down a few rows into the crowd... ****ing stupid behaviour that could have caused some serious injury because at its light source they can burn upwards of 1500 'C.

Plenty of stewards in the area but they seemed a bit slow to react.

Not condoning it at all, especially if the dickhead(s) thre it once they'd had their fun but flares are pretty easy to put out, just bang the lit end off the floor, makes a bit of a bang but safe enough.
Think they can expect severe punishment though, read last week about 3 Chelsea fans being arrested for lighting flares in a ground (not sure if it was the bridge or not) and they got 28 days inside, 3 year ban from all grounds and 6 years from the bridge

The Man City flare seemed to directly hit a fan on match day and thought he was lucky.
I dont understand these people but maybe some come to one match and go wild but we dont need them.

How do they enforce a ban from all stadiums?!

A ST holder trying to get into the home stadium is obvious, but some Johnny no mark who gets his mates to buy the tickets surely won't be stopped, especially at Away grounds? Sounds like a nonsense ban to me!

The corner seems to attract a lot of teenagers and old troublemakers, which isn't a great mix, but they did produce a decent atmosphere. The flares were stupid, and proof the idiots who confronted you when you got through the turnstiles weren't doing their job properly. Ban for them as well?

Don't know about away grounds and local police, but I was talking to a policeman outside our ground once and he said they had specialist spotters who could pick out any trouble maker from quite a distance away.

Interesting... So that's why the stand outside the ground and ride horses around? I've always wondered what the point was!

    I HATE FLARES/FIREWORKS ETC.
IT STEMS FROM ONE GOING OFF IN THE gALLOWGATE WHEN WE USED TO STAND LIKE SARDINES.
One was set off and just missed us - and noone could move as it went horizontally. just over all our heads.
Should put these fools in a locked room, set off fireworks and see how they like it!

A lad I work with sits in the corner and says that things have been a bit tetchy all season. Standing is an issue and one or two seem to be spoiling for fights.
I sit in the Gallowgate and see the odd thing, but can only go off what he says.

Seems fairly plausible to me, would say the crowd for the Europa looked younger than usual in that area, but I've seen a couple of confrontations between stewards/police in that area. The Pink Hotel, or whatever it is they call the holding cells, are in that corner of the ground, so it's pretty easy to take people away from that stand.

Ever since the no-standing decree, lots of clubs have had problems with supporters, think that's why many are receptive to the safe-standing option.

Not sure that they all actually want to stand. I think its just a society thing of going against rules - and sod the rest of us.
Anyone objects and they're submitted to threats/abuse.
Had it myself for objecting when the cretins who arrive late/leave early at half/full time stop and stand in front of us when something is happening and then take offence when we object.
    ****ing Morons!!!
I have NEVER - and will never leave early (or arrive late) unless it's an absolute emergency.
Some ids coming must think a match is 75 minutes as they're dragged in/out early.

    END OF LATEST RANT!!!!
