It would appear Alex McLeish was spotted near the Leeds United directors at today's game.
We may all want Adkins, Poyet, Coyle etc, however they come at a price and GFH don't appear to have any cash, hence McLeish may be the man they are looking at to take over from the incapable Warnock.

I really wouldn't be upset at that. Not my first choice, but he knows his stuff. He was absolutely brilliant as Scotland manager and pulled off all sorts of results that we really shouldn't have deserved. Would definitely not be the end of the world.

Relegated Birmingham, disaster at Villa, why the hell would we want him. Hardly qualifies as a young manager either

Exactly. Which is why I mentioned it. Scotland were far worse than this Leeds team, believe it or not!

He also got Birmingham promoted & they won the League cup! I'd settle for that.

He got them relegated the year they won the League cup. I certainly wouldnt settle for that. Promotion to or staying in pl is all that matters these days

The one thing i did spot was Lorimer sucking up and whispering to Capt Birdseye in the stand, time for a big broom at LS11, remove the past and start again.
The other thing i did spot was the terriffic support we had and how they sang their heads off for 90 mins, best in the land <applause>

Well given that he left Forest because they wouldn't give him lots of transfer dosh, I can't see why he would come to us. Plus he hardly fits the criteria of being a young manager (and his brand of football is as bad as Warnock's). He was probably just there because Uncle Ken promised him a warm meal.

To be fair to Mighty, the more time he spends on here, the less time he has to smash up other people's grounds or racially abuse their players. We're basically doing a service to society <cheers>
