Just returned from the match and felt our defence was the deciding factor not conceding, as under Mcghee we would have crumbled with the pressure that Wycombe put us under in the second half.We rode our luck but so did Wycombe as JJ could have and perhaps should scored in the second half twice!Thought that we lost something in the midfield when Clarkson replaced Norburn as JJ had to play a more defensive role with clarkson behind the lone striker Brunt who was a typical old style English centre forward and getting better every game looked knackered at the end hope both he and Norburn are ok for Tuesday night.Up to our goal we looked well not that good in attack mainly cause Wycombe are very proffessional in bullying the opposition into submission, you can see why they win so many games, a while ago we would as said crumbled, today we were resolute in defence the whole team, good job as we needed a result.

Great to pick up another 3pts,it really is amazing that since Ward has taken the reigns we have amassed20 points from a possible 27pts over 9 games truly a great turn around.Someone who has watched the club for a long time said to me it was like watching the great defensive team of the 50's afore my time but good to hear.

My only word of caution is that we still are only 7pts of the relegation spots how can that be with the great run of results we have enjoyed!!

Still we have some games in hand which is positive,so whats the view from the terraces Gasheads are you happy with the way we are playing have we got our club back under Ward, have we enough to survive the drop.

Still hard to believe how its all changed for us and only one defeat so far this year. And yeah still not out the woods just yet seems like after all our wins recently that we should be at least 15pts clear  Can't wait for Tuesday.

how many points would we have had in these 9 games if we were still under MM? then where would that put us in the table? just goes to show what a mess we wer ein and shows what a great manager Jw is.

very close at the bottom as barnet and wimbledon won! the bottom 5 have only a 2 point gap. thankfully we have a bit of daylight. but i say we need to be at least 13 points clear of the bottom 2 by the time o'toole goes when loan finishes, just to be safe.

we are not really playing great football. but we are playing with a lot of fight, passion, determination and never giving up so we see no heads dropping when we concede. win, lose or draw this is what i expect from rovers like the twerton days. if we lose 4-0 it wouldnt matter to me as long as i know we played our hearts out and gave it our all and to me we are seeing this type of performances but with our defending, we are conceding a lot less and taking our chances. we have young hungry players who are all loving the passion from the fans which is encouraging them more. we the fans are less negative and more positive. no more poisoned atmosphere but instead were getting behind them

from the bottom up things have changed since JW joined and with the stadium around the corner, the future is bright <ok>

Future is very bright. We are playing exactly as we need to play with fight, fight and a bit more fight. JW has built us from the back and our defence is resolute. I'm not bothered about a lack of perceived champagne football, we were in the **** and the team are doing exactly what they need to do to dig themselves out of it.

I love going down the Mem now, win, lose or draw.

    UTG!

Agree with all the comments so far,we played better vs Barnet however they played the ball on the ground more than Wycombe who forced high balls on us then pressed in critical areas,as I said they must bully other teams into submission or just by the volume of high balls get on the end of one, still we stood firm and punted it back def not attractive to watch very frustrating at times, but you have to play different styles of football to win this league at least under Ward we seem to have a plan B.

Hoping that Rotherham play the ball on the ground we may see more football as my neck needed a massage after watching the game yesterday.

And CJ agreed, we appear to have our club back and Ward along with the players and directors are responsible for breathing life back into a depressed outfit.

Att: 7,324 quite a few turned up since our reversal of fortunes although not the same atmosphere as the Friday match possibly due to the tightness of the game.

As for the points we would have amassed in the same games under Mcghee it does not bear thinking about especially given the sides have picked up points around us we would be well and truly in trouble.

Not outta the woods but we have some daylight and def worth turning up for.Just like in previous seasons when we were in the mire I travelled all over the place supporting the club and Rammell came to the rescue we stayed up phew.

Erm, well it's true ROD. Under ****le and during the last couple of months of MM's reign there was quite a poisonous atmosphere much of the time - apprehension rapidly turned into barracking the players under those two. Now we can see that the team are giving their all so it's a far better atmosphere.

OK, no-one wants to see their team lose (apart from maybe the masochists in BS3!), but at least we can see our lot are organised and putting the required effort in <ok>.

Best part was when he took it on the chin Oh err <whistle> and took it for the banter it was<ok> and I also liked the comment he and Shiny made the other day taking the piss out of the Cardiff fans saying they want to make sure they didn't come across too anti Welsh that they didn't offend me. Fair play to both of you <ok>
