    In the aftermath of Spurs so called "glorious" season,I would like to point out that since
    the great days of Kevin Keegans first visitation,Newcastle United have played over 100 games in Europe........3 seasons in the Champions League and 6 seasons in the EUFA cup.None of these have ever been called glorious,,so why should Spurs have the accolades.At the end of the day,they won NOTHING !

    Having seen everyone of those European games (well,all the home ones anyway),including the defeat of Barcelona and the vists if the Milan teams,I would just like to ask the question-Would you give up all those games for 1 F.A.cup final win ?

    I know I would,would you ?

    Nope...Said it millions of times, one win doesn't make you a good team!

    As Curly Hair said; Portsmouth...Add to that Birmingham (if they're relegated) Greece have won silverware more recently than England, Holland, Portugal...Doesn't make them the one with the more silverware a better team!

    At first I thought this was gonna be one of those " what would you rather have, a vagina for a mouth or a penis for a nose " type threads...


    but NOO, europe is better.. the only time i'd ever wanna get to the fa cup final would be to get into europe anyway. a no brainer really!

    Has to be playing in Europe.

    Mixing it with the best and the most obscure is great fun.

    Who can forget Tino tearing Barca a new one?

    Who can forget Krul coming of age against Palermo and then repeatedly uttering 'amazing' during his post match interview?

    Who can forget Drogba tearing us a new one when he played for Marseille?

    Who can forget the joy of watching Scott Parker collect the Intertoto cup/plaque/bookend?

    You can keep your 90 minutes of footballing glory in the FA Cup.

    I have far more memories to recall in the last 15 years.

    Tino's hatrick against Barca is my proudest footballing moment and something I will cherish forever, I will never forget it and certainly wouldn't swap it for anything, on the same lines of Pompey, the Smoggies won a domestic cup reasonably recently.

    I still can't get over the fact they reached the UEFA Cup Final in 2007, nor the fact that they dicked Manchester City 8-1 just 3 years ago. <laugh>
