So hang on, who are you criticising, Allen for making the subs or the referee for forcing Allen to make the subs?

I was worried at one time that Lee would get a second yellow and was saying to my nephew that we should take him off, I think the ref did not help us as he seemed to give us a card for nearly everything and nothing for them, they should have had a red in my opinion for their keeper.

Both but MA for his part proved me wrong by taking the 3 points.

I felt it was a poor game yesterday,we made dagenham look better than they actually are with the space we allowed them.

Now for Gillingham, i like the back 4 and nelson has saved us at times, now the midfield,i was hoping for whelps, but must agree he was poor yesterday, now the central midfield is the main area i have the problem with!!!!

They sit too deep and allow the opposition to come at us,now if we were pushed them further up you would find gaps all over the pitch and we could use the ball better.

like everyone else at the end of the day a win is a win,and much needed at home, even though the linesman on the gordan road end was awful, for both sides, and the ref was not much better,i felt dagenham got the majority of decisions, but maybe this is what we have got to contend with being top of the league, keep self control, self belief and we can still win this league.

The most astonishing thing i find is how "certain gills fans" are moaning we have blown the league, but surely if someone said to you "gills will get automatic promotion" at the start of the season you would of taken that.

That is my view first post here keith

Welcome to not606 happy to see you have joined, I have to agree with the bit at the bottom how some people are acting it is like we had a bad run and we out the running whereas we have had a bad run and are still top, yes you can say we are lucky but we have shown qualities of a team that should go up at many times and that is why we are there. We are not the only team who have had poor spells, everyone else has, Port Vale did earlier in the season and have not been great of late with Pope not scoring so all we need to do now is keep up the good form from the last 3 games and stay top.

passit69 - thanks for your contribution and welcome.

It is always good and much welcomed to get a wide variety of thoughts from passionate Gillingham supporters, it makes our board a better place to debate with them.

I think it showed with glimpses what we can do with the ball on the floor, but we need more movement, and the central mids to push up to create triangle to pass into and the wide players to push wide,to stretch the opposition on all areas of the pitch, but i still can see this happening with time,if we can keep improving as a group of players and get promotion this year, all looks brighter for the future of the team.
