well for a start the first 2 are full of ****. don't see us selling Henderson, the rest possible, but we are in for a busy transfer window if that is the case. not going to compete with a club who like City and Chelsea will offer silly wages so that is unlikely. not sure on the Begovic one, they brought in the England goalie for the future so surely Begovic is going to get less opportunities as surprised if they send him out on loan again, thought he wanted first team football in the prem.
well for £15 mill they are welcome to him. for that sort of money i would expect a Clemence or Schmeicel not a David James.
I rate Begovic too but he's had a lot of protection over the years with the way Stoke play.I reckon for that sort of money we could get two keepers in. Just hope Al Habsi isn't one of them. I wonder if Rodgers will look at Vorm though.
Maarten Steklenberg almost signed for Fulham in January before the deal fell through. He was already on the plane. That suggests he wants to move to England. Edit: Just read it was a loan deal.
The only keeper I want gone is that useless pile of ****e Jones. Put aside the tough time his personal life has given him recently, he is absolute garbage. A new keeper is a must though, even if we keep Reina - he needs healthy competition, as his game has gone down hill over the last couple of seasons. I still believe he has what it takes though - just needs a kick up the arse with a quality keeper knocking on his door.
GK- Rui Patricio, Mandana, Kameni, Stekelenberg, Hamdonovic, Marc ter stegen. I hear theere is an experienced keeper in Brazil doing really well, Diego Cavalieri, anyone heard of him?
Yeah - he's quality. Tends to palm it out too often though, leading to mistakes like Arsenals Keeper yesterday. Are the days of goalkeepers actually catching the ball gone? Seems crazy.
Better safe than sorry? Not sure. All those GK mentioned could go for 5 mil. Forgot about Akinfeev from CSKA as well and he is young(ish) too.
Does any one know much about this Lucas Biglia? Is he good and would he be a significant improvement to us? and does he play number 10?
