No. But even if he had, he'd be getting a decent player with sell on value. Wes Morgan wasn't as good when we signed him as he is now. Even last season, he was always very good. But now he's just incredible. I'm yet to see any striker get the better of him in this league.
You can't have been looking very hard then. The last time you were on the box I saw him lose his man at set pieces a few times. Not in the same class as our Chez, nowhere near to be honest.
Glad you can see it as well. Not bad, don't get me wrong but nowhere near as good as you lot make out.
No he really isn't. This is a thread about James Chester reaching the hundred appearance mark for City. If you want to sing Wes Morgan's praises may I suggest you start a thread on your own board? I'm really not that bothered on what your thoughts are of him and I'd be surprised if anyone else on here is. Just a thought.
For me, Morgan is a good defender. The type who's difficult to beat as he's strong, not too slow and isn't afraid to put a foot in. Chester on the other hand, is just a real class act. His timing of tackles is second to none and he can actually play football. One of the big differences between the two for me is stick them in central midfield. Chester would look a class act still whilst Morgan would look a donkey.
Again, I disagree. Morgan rarely just hoofs the ball. He always tackles the attacker with ease and makes him look an idiot and then he'll calmly take the ball out of defence and pass it. He is the type who is difficult to beat because he is strong, very fast, not afraid to put a boot in and all the rest of it. But to say that he's 'a big lump' (thats where you're going with what you're saying) is really, really wrong. But anyway, to say he's a worse centre back because if you put him in centre midfield he'd be worse is irrelevant.
That's not what I'm saying. My point is defensively they're both very good defenders, I believe Chester's tackling is superior whilst Morgan is better in the air. On the ball though and at passing the ball you'd be a fool to think Morgan matched Chester. Chester sprays a ball out wide as if he's Scholes sometimes, whereas, Morgan tends to play it to a midfielder or someone more talented to do that for him.
So what is your point? Neither give the ball away. Honestly, on performances he'd win Championship player of the season. But no doubt Murray (pen) will get it.

Apart from being torn apart several times by Aluko? One time where Aluko went round him like his wasn't there from a standing start?
But now he'll use the excuse where Vicente went around Chester, Chester tripped him up and get booked! He's used that one on numerous occasions!
Anyone know if this is one of the shortest times a player has been with us when he has reached the 100 milestone ?seems to have passed so quickly
