That is not going to the theatre that is going to a show.

My valentines evening consisted of sitting in my pants playing Civilization 5 whilst the girlfriend made me a nice dinner. Then we watched Skyfall on the internet, winner.

Strictly speaking, StG's quite right. Yeah, Qwerty's going/gone/went to the theatre, but to watch a show. Theatre is drama, or a dramatic play. Not a Musical/Opera.

Can't believe I'm in a pedantic mood. I thought I'd shaken all that off. I could cancel this post, and you'd never see it, but my pedantry remains. Sorry. :)

I seem to have got a job, it's a temp role and it's only for a few weeks, but it's fairly well paid and it's a job. It's actually for a company I worked before as a temp, so I can't have been all that bad if they're happy for me to temp a second time! Now I can finally renew my world of warcraft account. It's time. It's time to return to Azeroth.

Well, she hasn't said either way yet as I haven't asked.

Hey, hey! Wait just a second! Just because I'm young, doesn't mean my intentions are just to get into her knickers asap! Tbh, I wouldn't want to rush anything like that and would want to wait at least wait a few months. As cheesy as it sounds, I am looking for love. I'm looking for someone who I have a strong connection with and can go out with to the theatre, for dinner, to the cinema, on holiday and just spend time with, even if it's not doing anything in particular, such as wondering along the banks of the River Thames. You know the song Waterloo Sunset by the Kinks? For years I've wanted to recreate the lyrics of that song. Seeing as she lives in London and Waterloo is my nearest station, if it ever were to work out, possibly I could live the dream of recreating that song by meeting up with her at Waterloo station on a Friday night, under the clock.

Yes, I know that's possibly the cheesiest thing that's ever been written on this forum. Coincidently back when I was going out with my last gf, many years ago, the last time I went to visit her (she lived in Birmingham) we had agreed to meet at Birmingham New Street but she cancelled for some reason. I was quite disappointed as despite perhaps not being as romantic as Waterloo, to me it would have still meant a lot.

Millions of people swarming like flies 'round Waterloo underground
But Terry and Julie cross over the river
Where they feel safe and sound
And they don't need no friends
As long as they gaze on Waterloo sunset
    They are in paradise

Just in case you didn't know what Lapras was talking about. Great song, and a lovely idea. Good luck mate.

    Azeroth is my food!

Thank you kindly! I was thinking of suggesting that we meet at Waterloo, then we can go to the South Bank as there's lots restaurants there and afterwards we can go for a nice walk along the Thames :D

Do you think if I suggest that for perhaps a week on Friday, that would be too early maybe? Or not? It would be just under 4 weeks since she Facebook and it'd probably be too short notice to suggest next week.

Not this time (I haven't asked yet) but we've gone out for meals just the two of us in the past. Most recently was only a few weeks ago, just days before she became Facebook single (I don't think there's any connection there, but you never know....).

This is exactly the kind of things we've studied in A-Level Psychology. It sure is a weird, yet wonderful creation.

The medical profession is making giant strides these days, but there is a huge amount of knowledge to be accrued about how the brain functions. We're just scratching at the surface, so far.
