Don't think so. He's not even 20 yet, so of course he's going to be inconsistent. Look at Theo at Oxo's age, he was playing inconsitently as well.
There's a difference. Ox has been consistently bad this year, no flashes of brilliance like he had last season, and Theo had when he was that age.
Ox has a had his flashes. Also note how little playing time he's had. Younger players need a run of games to get in the mood but Oxo gets the occasional game and sub time.
Good point, it's worth sending him out on loan, maybe someone like Cardiff City next year will benefit from him. He needs playing time, and he needs to figure out what his best position is.
Ox is a good promising youngster, but so far nothing special at all. Eisfield and Gnabri could be easily as good. I just do not understand why he is given such a preference over these two guys. Probably because of all that hype and money paid.
