Samaras foul was a stone wall penalty against Moscow.

We are all getting a bit carried away here I think. We have to remember that no one gave us any chance of even finishing 3rd in the group and to qualify in second place was an absolutely fantastic achievement. I don't see what good it does pilloring the same players who played so well to get us this far.

We have played 10 other games in the CL this season and in my opinion (and Gordon Strachan's), we played as well in the first half against Juve as we have done in donkey's years. I thought we were superb and IF we had got even 2 of the decisions in our favour - from a Referee who was utterly clueless or just plain scared - we could have been here talking about who the possible opponents might be in the last 8.

Contrary to what appears to be popular opinion I like Efe Ambrose, playing him was a gamble and so too was the choice to with 3 up front. I support Celtic for several reasons and one of the most important reasons for me as a football purist (or Idealist depending on your viewpoint) is our tradition of playing "Attacking" football, therefore although I am disappointed with the result I was not completely unhappy with the team's performance.

Juve in my opinion are not that great, and the 3-0 scoreline was not only flattering, it was deceptive as it paints an unfair picture of events.

Watch the game again if you have it recorded, we were not outclassed as some would have it, nor were the Italians world beaters, apart from their shirt pulling, wrestling and fouling capabilities. I don't know if I would go as far as saying the Ref cost us the game but, he certainly was partly to blame for the misleading result.

If Alex Ferguson or Jose Mourhino had done this we would be reading a lot of bollocks about how brilliantly they played mind games.

If Celtic had waited until after the second leg we would have doubtless been accused of "sour grapes", in fact that's already been thrown at us, so I have no problem at all with asking UEFA to comment, I would love to hear what they have to say regarding the Ref's shambolic performance and I doubt i'm the only one.

If this serves no other purpose than getting that clown removed from all CL games then it will have been worth it. I don't want to see him spoiling another club's chances of progressing against some other gang of cheats.

If it had of finished 1-0 I'd still be pissed off - at half time we had people waving bank notes at the ref as he walked down the tunnel - it was a terrible display.

When they scored the other 2 goals to make it 3-0 it left little room to complain over referee decisions - even if they had accumulated to be worth one goal we were still well beaten.

It will stop Juve getting away with it for the rest of the CL run in, its not ****ing football and should be stamped out, similar to diving. I have no problem with people speaking out about it (but I reserve the right to criticise huns for doing so).

As for pissing them off I agree with RL, **** them.

We know that two major individual errors cost us dearly. The ref certainly influenced the game to celtics detriment. On two occasions at least the ball was in play when Hooper and Brown were fouled. Two penalties if converted make a difference, even if they score the three. Our stats show that we competed with them.

The ref had a great effect on the outcome of the game.

Pictures tell the story as well. Lazio had a player sent off in a recent euro game for a second yellow for blocking.

It can be done if the ref has the motivation. He didn't and Platini probably influenced his thinking.

I saw Rangers get a Scottish International referee dropped from refereeing Senior football
for less. I don't care if Juventus take it well or badly, the facts are Tuesday night
Wasn't their first act of cheating. They are inbred cheaters like the team from Govan.
If they were not so fond of cheating they would have ignored the Glasgow cheats.
If they hadn't cheated on Tuesday they certainly wouldn't have won three nil , if
they won at all. At least Celtic can go on the pitch on Tuesday with their heads up high.

M D as a visitor to our elite boards, you need to bear in mind that you are not down
amidst the evil vile lies of a fourth tier thread. We know the owner of that club from
Govan who is not yet one year old may not yet respect the superior clubs in this Country.
There is little doubt he will, if he around for a year or two. In the meantime may I suggest
that you remember it is a privilege for low life like you to post on these threads, show your
respect to decent people like Dev and address them respectfully.
