Great win, exactly what we needed. Got to love Gedo getting another goal.

Good win - hopefully we didn't stuff them too badly, don't want to wreck their confidence for the Leicester match UTT

On another note we are up to just about 50,000 facebook fans now. Does the club release kit sales information? Would be great to know if any of these new fans are buying Gedo kits.

Actually, it's not been too bad.

Blackburn won, so we won't have another game in hand.

2 games in hand and still 7 points ahead of 7th.

We needed two strikers after loaning Mclean. We got Gedo so we still need another.
If you need any more proof look at the number of goals our other two strikers have scored lately.

After successive defeats to lowly Huddersfield and Peterborough, Leicester could easily struggle against a tougher Charlton side on Tuesday.
Also with Wood injured and Nugent apparently having his worst game against Huddersfield this could be the start of a wobble for them just when we're winning again.

    Wood is back from injury.

Nugent didn't look interested on Tuesday, neither did the rest of the team.

Has anyone noticed how tough our run in looks?

We'll need our egyptians to improve our team, Aluko to come back firing on all cylinders and no more injuries.

I'd rather we tried, but Nige has his eyes firmly on the league. Loses momentum, jut like your shocking Cup performances did.

Yes it's better when the team tries and a bit worrying when they don't. Maybe Nige blinked at Peterborough eh?<laugh>
Trouble is defeats erode confidence, so I guess you'll just have to keep your fingers crossed for Tuesday...

I dunno, obviously we need to score more goals but I don't think the run-in is significantly more difficult (on paper) than other points in the season. 14 matches left, 7 against top half teams, 7 against bottom half. 5 rivals matches (Blackburn, Palace, Watford, Boro and Cardiff) only one of which is away from home. We're 12 points ahead of where we were at after 32 matches in 07/08. Even if we lost all our rivals games we could still take top 2 by beating the rest (assuming we need at least 85 points for top two.)

Aluko and the possibility of an early return for Matty would be a major psychological boost for the squad though. I'm optimistic

We've got an appalling record at London Road. It's always been our bogey ground.
