Just witnessed our very own, on loan Rob Hulse score what the commentator described as "an incredible goal" that appears to be a cross which ended up in the back of the net. He never did a move like that for us.

    1323:
GOAL - Luton 0-2 Millwall - Rob Hulse (36 mins)
A real shinner! James Henry crosses from the right, Rob Hulse wins the header which ends up behind him, the striker then reacts well to hook a volley back across goal and into the corner. Right off the meat of his shin, but they all count. Luton are bang in trouble now.

BBC Sport's Chris Osborne at Kenilworth Road: "It took the crowd about four or five seconds to realise Rob Hulse's hooked shot had dropped into the far corner. Some Millwall fans were still unsure what the fuss was about when Hulse turned away to celebrate."

    Again v harsh

The lad has got the talent just never harnessed properly with us. You could say the same for hoilett, park, swp etc etc something happens to decent players when they sign for us. They go right off the boil

Was just mentioned that Luton were hoping to become the first non-league side to make the last eight since QPR did so 98 years ago.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1914–15_FA_Cup

Quite the run, including Glossop, Leeds and a narrow defeat to Everton - my grandfather likely watched those home games before he shipped off to France in WW1.

    22 Queens Park Rangers 2–1 Glossop 9 January 1915

We would have faced this lot:-

9 Queens Park Rangers 1–0 Leeds City 30 January 1915

    7 Queens Park Rangers 1–2 Everton 20 February 1915

Sixteen non-league sides were given byes to the First Round to bring the total number of teams up to 64. These were:

    Southampton
    Millwall
    Queens Park Rangers
    Crystal Palace
    Swindon Town
    Plymouth Argyle
    Reading
    Portsmouth
    Gillingham
    Cardiff City
    Norwich City
    Exeter City
    Northampton Town
    Southend United
    West Ham United
    Brighton & Hove Albion

Oldham were off to another good FA Cup start, but Everton have pegged them back 1-1. Wonder if they can make it a Merseyside double?

I don't think Everton are as flaky as Liverpool were. I expect they'll have a bit too much for Oldham as the game wears on...

Oldham 1 Everton 2 after goalkeeper error. Still lots of time to pull it back.

Almost 2-2 (twice), but looks as if Oldham, like QPR back on Feb 20, 1915 will exit the FA Cup 1-2 at the hands of Everton.

41 min - Man City 2 Leeds 0 - what's the deal with the Leeds supporters waving their sneakers en masse?

He meant it, we have been better off keeping him than playing no one up front, look what a different Zamora made to our attacking intent when he came on at HT, of course it was too late by then.
