Not really, just occassionaly I stumble accross the real dregs of humanity on football forums and I have to say you are up there with the real scum on VB and the likes. You pretend to be nothing but a WUM, but you really are poisonous, hateful, shell of a man (and I use "man" in the loosest possible sense) but you don't realise it and for that reason you have my pity as well as my contempt. You understand?
A. You cannot get on Vanguard bears. B. Those nasty words really hurt. C. You're too ****in easy to wind up.
Russ is a dream for a WUM, constantly biting and, dare I say it, beeling He's been getting pummelled anally since Trevor Santos first registered which seems like 2 years ago. Superb Russ. Thanks for everything mate.
You've not wound me up at all because you are not attempting to wind me or anyone else up, you are merely attempting to hide your true colours behind a veneer of kidology. Plenty of people can see it because they unlike you, are not blind. If I give vent to my opinion that you are scum, does that mean you are not because you are not serious? You are beyond help but seek it anyway.
That's IT! I'm gettin veneers as well. My teeth are beautifully white but I smoke and I fear they will lose their glow sometime in the near future. I suggest after that embarrassing episode from yourself today you keep your head down.
Veneer: [in singular] an attractive appearance that covers or disguises someone or something’s true nature or feelings: her veneer of composure cracked a little Just for you thicko
So you were only pretending to be ignorant about the English language? Should I mark that down as you "Wumming" me again?
My thought on the Celtic/Juventus thing would be that in the first place it was an achievement for Celtic to qualify for the group stages. They did extremely well to get into the last 16 from what I thought looked a pretty tough group. Despite all this they were never going to beat Juventus in a million years. I felt a bit sorry for the Ambrose guy as he took the majority of the flack as I thought the goalie wasn't that great either. I thought the Italians looked miles ahead technically, but they have a more expensive team playing in a far superior league. Some posters on the Celtic board are being critical of Platini for his earlier statement saying Juve were going through. He was only mirroring the thoughts of probably every non-Celtic supporting football fan in Europe when they saw that draw. Sure the Italians were dirty, but they always are. I was speaking to an Italian workmate about it who is a Celtic fan. He said it's about the Latin mentality. They see football merely as a game, not a matter of life and death. As such they will do what it means to win that game and totally wind up the opposition along the way. Some of what we saw the other night was pretty unpleasant in sporting terms, but the majority of it fell inside the laws of the game. The asking for clarification thing did make me laugh. I mean fans should ask for clarification every time Iain Brines takes charge of a game of football. You just have to get on with it at times. Do you think it's a subtle ploy by the Hoops to get a EUFA refs strike going so as they can get a Scottish ref for the away leg? Facetiousness aside I believe that the hammering that will ensue in the 2nd leg (as a result of the request) will almost certainly lower some of the price tags of Celtic's summer deportees.
Considering this is a club that has been found guilty on numerous occasions of match fixing, Celtic are quite right to ask for clarity on the ref considering his blatant disregard for the rules.
I hadn't considered that fact Eric, i think that's a reasonable argument in favour of asking UEFA for their opinion on the Ref's preformance. If we get really desperate we could always take them through the Civil courts if we don't like the answers, maybe even write to David Cameron.
He was terrible at corners but other than that he did a good job. All he had to do was give a penalty and it would stop it completely and make his job easier! Just remember willie collum is a uefa referee too
I don't think that's what he was alleging Moses, they have previous so it's not so hard to imagine they could have got to the officials is it? I don't think you will find many who think the Ref was at it, but he was -and i'm being generous here - appallingly incompetent. I personally have no problem with Celtic at least trying to take a stand, I don't want to see that kind of defending in any football match, I don't think it's much of a stretch of the imaginiation to suspect that everyone can agree on that. If Celtic let it go without comment then who is to say that every manager who watched that fiasco would not start empolying the same tactics. If a player ran around the park with his arms outstretched paralell to shoulders he would be booked or at least warned, apparently if you do it in the penalty box without even looking at the ball then that's ok. Something has to be done and i'm not simply saying that because Celtic are involved. A couple of years ago I was similary angered by Inter's tactics against Barcelona, and the Dutch tactics (and the Ref's preformance) against Spain in the WC final. In situations like these I believe it is up to the clubs to complain to UEFA and at least try to get the Referees they employ to follow the Laws of the game and not interpret them as they see fit, or even worse, ignore the Laws completely which is what that Spanish fella did the other night.
