What do you do now? I'm enjoying working, earning dollarrrrr! But in a few years time, I'm sure I'll change my mind
I assume your referring to the sicko that plays Kevin Webster? Didn't one of his roles involve him going with an underage girl too?
Yeah crazy stuff another former Corrie star is doing time at the moment for the same thing. The scottish fella that was killed off last year.
****ing disgusting that is! That **** is just ****ing wrong, ****ing hanging people should be brought back for people like that!
The daily mail is strong in you. We don't hang people for murder, so why should we bring it back for seriously affecting a child's life?
Dude c'mon, I know it's innocent until proven guilty but this isn't the first time it's been brought up. I know I was over the top, it just makes me cringe.
It seems that there is a lot of evidence against the guy but he is saying he's innocent and will fight the charges. Seems like there is too much against him for him to be innocent though.
Yes it is cringeworthy and I think some people get let off with relatively short sentences, but I'd much rather see more precautions put in place than we started killing people.
Yep, I think it should be kept quiet until the person is found innocent or guilty, only then should the public be informed, and only if the person is guilty. The hacks will always find out though we then have trial by media and any jury is already influenced by the time it goes to court.
This^ The law (rightly) grants anonymity to the alleged victim, but allows the accused's identity to be publicly dragged through the mud, before they are brought to trial. We all know how the press thrive on a bit of righteous indignation, and imo this prejudices the public and the jury. Even if the accused is exonerated, the stigma remains and the " No smoke without fire" brigade ( no pun intended) will be out in force and refuse to believe in their innocence. No offence, but we already have perfectly decent people on here calling for hanging or castration before the man is even found guilty. I'm not defending Michael Le Vell, I know nothing about the case, I'm just defending the principles of justice.
