For those of you that couldn't use your regular seat in the ground, where were you sitting and what did you think about the area you sat in last night?

How did the people you were sitting beside and the atmosphere compare to your regular experience?

Was near enough to my regular seat but none of the regular ST holders were there.

Sitting among a bunch of strangers.

    Decent enough bunch though.

Better than paying for ESPN though, especially with Chris Waddle co-commentating.

Seems it was one of those nights, not what you'd expect in the Platinum Club though.

Sat in the same seats, but surrounded by couples (and kids)... Bloody valentines. Meant the atmosphere was completely flat, because the women who go on valentines don't usually know the chants, and the lads don't want to use the chants in front of them.

There was a couple of very drunk guys behind me who slurred a few things loudly, but they were gone by half time <yikes>

La Fraise corner was in good voice though, so it was alright, but why on earth did they let off flares? <ok>

They had obviously smuggled a few in as well, because they kept on doing it. DT and I were choking on the fumes and we're 100 yards away!

I saw a few go off outside the ground too. but ended up costing a load the game, as we brought that six game deal. so it will cost me £300 plus for that deal

Ok but none of the lads and lasses who I sit with were there but on a whole the people around us were canny. A few were at their first game and enjoyed it but a couple with kids were concerned when the flares started, even though we weren't right next to them.

Do what G does, get a tandem and let the other half do the hard work, good for the figure tell her.

Was reduced to watching on ESPN, arriving back a minute after kick off. The mad dash back breaking all kinds of speed limits barely seemed worth when Waddle started with his usual patter.

If you choose the games you want to see early enough, you can get a lot cheaper fares by booking in advance.

    Take a look at; www.nationalrail.co.uk

That might be a bit of help for you.
