this could be just rumours but i have heard scott loach wants out link to Norwich does anyone know about it.
Norway - Mrs W_Y's grandad used to breed Canaries. We used to have a pink one - mind you we had to put some red stuff into it's Trill! It used to sing beautifully until it died of a heart attack, probably caused by a cat jumping in the window and knocking it's cage onto the floor!
Careful w-y, the Thread Police may be monitoring this I used to breed budgies and had quite a large collection of all yellows - maybe a new nickname for Norwich?
Sorry - If the Canaries would like to make a silly offer for Loach then who are we to refuse the prem cash that will burning a hole in Delia's knickers..
well man city use to link with him, and then spurs and no offence but they could both easily outbid you.
I don't mean to come across as a wum and I'm interested to hear what you think as you obviously see him play far more often than I do but do you all really rate Loach as a future top Premier League goalkeeper? I think he's ok but based on what I've seen of him he looks fairly run of the mill and if you could get someone to stump up a couple of million you should take it and take a punt on a cheap lower league goalkeeper with a bit of potential like Cameron Belford at Bury.
Watford R, not a WUM at all. You will find a lot of Watford fans who agree with you. Personally, I think he has the potential to be top class but needs a hell of a lot of work. Most games he will produce brilliant saves but then he will produce a clanger. He doesn't command his box at all and this affected the defence this year. That is part of the reason we let a lot in this year. I don't mean this to be an attack on him. As I said I think he could be very good, but at the moment he is exactly as you described him. I agree, ã2million and I would be biting their hand off because we could get a similar standard keeper for much less.
He's a great stopper, but his command of the area has been suspect, and he is suffering a bit of a confidence crisis. I think he'll be excellent - he's still very young, and GKs take years to mature.
He has potential but has had a poor season - but then again so many young keepers do _ I don't have the stats but seem to remember when James was with us and young he fluctuated wildly
Seems to have gone to far too fast , needs to take stock and refind his mojo !! Preferably before next season starts!

He had a better season last year compared to this season just completed but I'm certain he will be a top keeper in time. I also think that whilst he did have a few clangers he also pulled off some fantastic saves; maybe our expectation level for keepers is too high after all the top class players we have had in that position over the years?
