Masky - just logged on to see this. I can't remember for the life of me who were playing on the day, <steam> but I DO remember this.

It was a Saturday late morning/early lunchtime and the wife came home from shopping. I was sat there halfway through a pack of Tesco egg and bacon sandwiches getting ready for the early kick off game at I.00pm. As she walked in the door she said "I'd have thought you'd have gone by now".

I'd told her all bloody week it was a midday kickoff but had somehow got it locked in my mind that it was 1.00pm. <doh>

I shot out of the chair, the remainder of the sandwiches hit the pedal bin, the tea slung in the sink, and I was off up the M4 like a rat up a drainpipe - the speed cameras should have had a field day, but somehow I got away with it. <laugh>

They had scored by the time I got there and I missed their goal, but I know we scored twice thereafter to win the game. Good job I was late..........<laugh>

You know Masky, I still can't remember who we were playing. It'll come back to me in a minute.

TEAM NEWS

Cardiff defenders Ben Turner (ankle) and Kevin McNaughton (facial injury) may be in line to return to the squad.
Youth team player Ben Nugent could deputise if McNaughton fails to recover, otherwise manager Malky Mackay has a fully-fit squad to choose from.
Bristol City midfielder Neil Kilkenny (ankle) is expected to be available for their trip to Cardiff City Stadium.
Captain Cole Skuse and striker Sam Baldock (calf) will be monitored and may undergo late fitness tests.

MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

• Bristol City briefly climbed to the summit of the Championship table, folllowing their 4-2 home win over Cardiff on 25 August, when Martyn Woolford scored half their goals.
• It was only the second time in 12 meetings that the Robins had achieved a victory over Cardiff
• The Welsh club are aiming to complete four successive home league wins over their opponents from the west country.
• Bristol City need to score to take their total of league goals against Cardiff to 100, and 50 on Cardiff turf.

Cardiff City

• Cardiff defend an eight point lead at the top of the table, and an eight-match unbeaten league sequence of six wins and two draws.
• The 2-1 home loss to rock-bottom Peterborough on 15 December was their only defeat in 15 Championship outings, 11 of which were won.
• Victory would see the Bluebirds equalling last season's total of 40 home points.

Bristol City

O'Driscoll: The man behind the myth
• Next-to-bottom Bristol City have won three of their last four under new manager Sean O'Driscoll, but are still three points from safety.
• They are averaging a point a game (31 from 31), but are yet to pick up any on their league travels this calendar year, after three consecutive losses.
• Liam Fontaine is standing by to make his 250th Bristol City start

MASKY - I've just had a nice bottle of Selexione and it's lubricated the leetle grey cells a bit.

I think it was Millwall and Andy Keogh got the winner - bless him............<laugh>

Crikey Sparkey :steam: if Keogh scored the winner that should stick in your tiny mate. That's a bit like Ronnie Moore, Eddie the eagle or wait for this one...Warren Feeney! <wah>
