http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-beds-bucks-herts-21469693 This all seems a bit over the top. Never seen the word 'bespoke' used in policing terms before.
Unless I have missed them - nine people who usually predict cup matches have yet to do so this week - Akureyrar, yellotoyou, Al4hornet, Irohas Bunyon, Lloydinio, wearyellow, Yorkshire and Jsybarry and chris13
Five people who have posted League predictions have posted to hte schedule before it was re-arranged due to cup postponements - these are Al the hornet, Bolton, Aberdeen, Hornethologist and Mark Please post the three games you have missed - thanks Leo
Hi Mark & Yorkie, yes you are both right. The Book makes interesting reading, has a different event in history for each day of the year including 29th Feb.
evening all...er...morning all! Had a lovely day at the spa today...so i wasn't around, but i'll bet i wasn't missed . thaks for the caramel latte Ak As for Apple v Android...i've had HTCs for a while and am thrilled with them...and the Nexus 7 has books w_y ...i'm loving it..and at £150 less than an iPad mini, the justification for paying the extra doesn't exist in my book ...but then..i guess it depends what you start with. Anyone with an Apple would never go to Android and vice versa...but i do feel sorry for everyone who pays over the odds just for the Apple name ... See you in Birmingham w_y!! Can't blinkin' wait!!
Morning all from a chilly bandit country - went out last night and the natives are getting a bit nervous about their visitors. Seems the Police are putting the visitors into a couple of pubs near the station, but next to a pub that the local thugs frequent, so I expect they will have a busy afternoon. So looking forward to today, proper old school away day.....COYH Coffee and Krispy Kremes are on the bar...
I was there too - and mainly remember us all linking arms and marching down the main drag chanting 'Ho Ho Ho Chi Minh' - for reasons that have entirely eluded me even to this day. Must have been something in the water........
Oh dear - http://www.scotsman.com/sport/footb...reen-writes-to-pm-over-rangers-exit-1-2795134 Am not exactly in favour of this - it just highlights the madness of EU rules and regulations and will no doubt ruffle more than a few English footballing feathers. It's not as if we need this to help keep L*t*n out of the FL - they're doing an admirable job of that themselves.
Would be an interesting development BB and I wonder if Rangers have a big enough war chest to take on the country football authorities, UEFA and FIFA - there will be some lawyers in Glasgow rubbing their hands in glee!
If the Scots vote for independence the matter will not arise, as according to people this side of the channel Scotland would have to apply for membership of the EU, and that could take years. Wonderful sunny morning here and the first thing to be done is a trip to the bottle bank. Craig Ramage is with Jon Marks this afternoon and he always seems to be very good. It seems like a long time since we last played.
Wonderful sunny morning here and the first thing to be done is a trip to the bottle bank. Is that the "full bottle" bank to make a withdrawal or the "empty bottle" bank to make a deposit?
Re-stocked yesterday. Jean-Luc who owns the local bar was there as well. He made my offering seem paltry.
That's a major point that the SNP appear to glossing over, and one that could ultimately scupper their plans. For some reason, they, in spite of every other opinion, seem to think that membership will be automatic, but they don't seem too keen to discuss why they hold that point of view. I get the impression that there is a large percentage of the population who are against EU membership anyway. Better the de'il ye ken! On the football side, Rangers may well find UEFA on their side as this may offer the opportunity that many within have been seeking to treat the UK as one nation as opposed to four.
So far only 3 teams are through to the Cup Quarter Finals - all Championship - Barnsley, Blackburn and Millwall - who would ever have thought that eh?
