Brb does have a point about the number of mods needed compared to the amount of users teams have....Im ok with just two mods and we should wait and see what was discussed on the mod board by chico before making a fuss about nothing really. Musty has been made a mod and im fine with that, If the mods on their own forum thinks that because of our numbers that 4 mods is not needed then we will have to get on with it...Its not that a big issue in the first place...

 

go the premier league forum and have a look at the total posts for each board. you can make a case for 3 mods, but 4 would be too many.

Lets not let this become the KJ show , you were willing to stsnd up during swimgate, again the majority if fellow jacks have been screwed over. If this is your final stance, so be it.

 

I think being liked by the majority is a prerequisite.

I'm with Dai. It's clearly been discussed by the mods on their board and that would include Chico. Whatever happened to the unusual idea of allowing the mods to get on with it without interference from us? Or doesn't that apply when they do something a few don't agree with? :/

Swim: Post 44 is hardly a wum - just giving my opinion. How does having an opinion turn it into the "KJ show" .

The fact you don't like my opinion is neither here nor there is it. If you cannot see how wumming on this board and elsewhere comes home to roost then look no further than this mod debacle. Do you seriously think that this would have happened if some of our lot hadn't been OTT? I've got no problem with wumming if that's what floats your boat, but it will always come back on us - all of us - so it's pointless moaning about it when it happens.

The mod decision is a separate issue and it looks like Chico agreed so that should be the end of it. Where did you get the idea this is a democracy? It's not, nor should it be. The mods decide and that's it. Got a problem? Take it to Chico via PM.

 

Could even make a case for no mods! For me shogs,it's not the number, it's the principle.

Looks like the mod/supermods (not Chico) behind the scenes have totally ****** this up and have created a problem they obviously didn't consider.

The fact that QPR fans have been involved stinks and kiwiqpr should have his backside kicked by a supermod.

Having said that, time to move on and enjoy the footie this weekend.

Agree with Ivan , however, I know he and I put ourselves forward only to help the board out , I do feel that brb has wrongly been influenced by the vote numbers which WE all realised, on the Swansea Board, were being influenced by outsiders but we let it continue not wishing to cause more animosity, and under the impression WE the Swansea Board members had come to a concensus.

Regarding the Numbers issue If you go by numbers who voted on 'Our' moderators it appears we have 37 active members, which surely would require more than two Moderators given the time zone disparity . I believe that argumentthat we do not need more than two does not hold water and may I point out the regulars of this board may have a better idea of how it should be run than your worthy self ?

It is sad to realise that this is Not our Board, that it can be influenced by non Swansea supporters with malice aforethought and supermodded by someone who appears to have a hidden agenda. brb, your comment '' no disrespect to PFG or FFS '' is a hollow platitude, let's have the truth please why are you disrespecting the views of the members this board?

 

Guys, the result wasn't influenced. Even with the QPR posters votes removed, Musty was still our fans choice.

 

He's disagreeing with SOME members of this board. Of the 37, my guess is that most couldn't give a **** how many mods we have - it's the application of the rules that counts. There has been a discussion on the Mods Board about the numbers required and it looks as if it was agreed by Chico. If that's wrong, he'll tell us I'm sure. If it's right then that's the end of it.

Lot of nonsense about sweet **** all.

 

...As for QPR fans with "malice aforethought" ask yourself why they had that. If the Swans were fighting for their lives and we had lots of posters wishing we'd go down I'd grasp the opportunity for payback too. Can't blame them and I'd have done the same in their shoes just for the hell of it.

In any event, Chico's post above suggests that this is a non-issue. Leave the mods mod!
