This game proves that we NEED another DM and proper striker in the summer. Absolute priorities.

Muscle in the middle and in front of the back 4.

Pace, muscle, a spear head and more GOALS up front.

I think a lot of our defensive issues are in midfield. Maybe a tactic change is needed for set pieces.

The strong DM shouldn't really cost much either if you look around correctly.

Looked solid for the most and then bam, 2 goals. Who should we invest in the summer? An experienced proven defense coach.

I think a lot of our defensive issues are in midfield. Maybe a tactic change is needed for set pieces (like Roy did after Rafa's set piece defending disasters).

Doubt we could, but would love Hyypia and Carra to be that duo. They know what the shirt means.

I don't care who we buy any more; BR's tactics are the problem.

M'Vila was willing to join QPR so he could be worth an approach.

Wonder if any of our players have heard of 'marking.' Seems to be a bit foreign to them.

Means we also must go full throttle at Anfield as well. Probably right smack in a tough week i think as well?

Dunno, with Carragher gone, a certain nameless one seems to have lost the ability to pass, read a cross or tackle with any authority.

And also I wouldn't want two young CB's suffering the lack of protection this lazy bastard midfield has to offer.

I've bitten my tongue with Rodgers a few times this season.

I have to say I'm rapidly losing patience.

The beautiful stuff is good and what we want but if we can't quite do it and we need the win, got to be able to adjust!

This is the kind of game where we miss Andy Carroll, or at least the concept of Andy Carroll. 5 yard passes can be lovely to watch but on a pitch like this the possession game isn't going to cut it.
