Sorry District but that's a load of crap, United gave as good as they got and could easily have won if RVP had his usual scoring boots on. They played really well and deserved the draw, ref was crap as well Madrid really aren't that good and United will beat them comfortably at OT
United have given themselves a good chance of going through and are still in the tie unlike Spurs 2 years ago. However I can't agree that united will beat them comfortably. Can United stop them scoring? I doubt it.
what a load of ****, you would be jumping around if that was Chelsea getting a result against Real Madrid last night District.
Will Real score? probably yes. On that basis, they have the upper hand because at 1-1 at Old Trafford, any additional goal that Real score effectively counts as TWO goals. Real have the upperhand.
It's 50/50 for me. Before the tie I'd have had Real as favourites but not winning at home may prove their undoing. They have to score and United may pick them off on the break. I'm hoping for an early Real goal and then the game will open up nicely.
Barca had about 40 shots to our 7 last season in the first leg and i still wouldn't exactly say they dominated us
To be fair although Matth is a deluded idiot sometimes who constantly overhypes and overrates united and their players he is in the right with this one, they did deserve a draw. Only people who didn't watch the game would say otherwise
Fair play to United. Good result - but it's still very much in the balance. I wouldn't say either team has the upper hand at the moment - though Reals matches before the game [Barcelona] could really prove problematic for them. Real could have put the game to bed - but so could have Barcelona against us, but they didnt. Lets wait and see.
wouldnt say we were boring, just not clinical enough and yeah it wasnt a corner but the ref had an awful night all round
