He is a special case that Astrotwat, have only been neg repped by him once looking at my history. I imagine he is a Warcraft player where his online life is more important to him than his real one
Good afternoon guys A good result for us last night, but we should have won it with the chance Van Persie had.
Good afternoon It was a good defensive performance from United and we did well on the counter attack. De Gea played a blinder for us. Them chances too, but the RVP one was the best chance to get a 2nd goal.
I thought last night was a pretty accomplished performance myself, no doubt towards the end we could, probably should, have won it. Defensively we were excellent and if we repeat that I can see Real getting frustrated at our place and we sould be able to catch them on the break as they have to chase the game. Hoepfully they won't be able to score early at Old Trafford. The only downside of the night was Kagawa, who was pretty much non existant and impacted on the the way we opertated going forward. Still, if we can play like that with essentially ten me we should be ok with eleven at home. Notable performances; De Gea, superb. Rafael, was dodgy first half and I thought he should have been taken off but credit to him for sorting himself out. Ferdinand and Evans, superb and composed. Jones, brilliant. Carrick, steady, faultless and understated. All three forwards played very well in different ways too.
He made some top class saves and his best for me was the Coentrão shot which was a finger tip save early on in the game and that shot which he saved with his foot.
It was a good defensive performance from us and we did to well to cope with the Madrid onslaught. Agree with the players you listed as having good games especially De Gea. Was worried when Rafael got the yellow card that he would do something silly and get himself sent off and expected Fergie to sub him, so fair play to Rafael for not doing anything silly after that. Do you think we should approach the leg at Old Trafford in the same manner as we did yesterday? I would because if we go for a attacking approach, then Madrid have dangerous players who can exploit the gaps and punish us on the break.
The truth is we don't need to score, they do, so there's no need for us to go all out to attack. It'll make things a bit difficult for us but at least it means we don't have to go hell for leather from the off. If they do, we can counter attack and also if they start chasing the game later on we can also hit them on the counter. I wouldn't want us to play for nil nil though so it'll be a balancing act.
