As for tap-ins, you have to be in the right place at the right time to score one of those.

Well those 9 goals don't change my mind about him. I'm going on his Premier league performances and goals. 27 goals and 6 apps in the PL and how he scored them, makes me hope he's 5th choice next season. He doesn't deserve anything more because 95% of the time he's a lazy bastard, and spoils alot of our attacks because he can't pass for ****.

Lover and Best are both better than him. Both more technical and unlucky both not to have gotten more goals in their seasons, and they both do so much more for the team.

It's a forum, not an English lesson, and you poked no holes in my logic. The bloke doesn't try hard enough, and doesn't even seem to care most of the time. As i've said, if people are technically ****e, i'll respect them if they try, but if they're lazy and don't give a toss, i won't respect them.

The other strikers try, even ****ing Kuqi tries. Shola has the ability to be a decent striker, but he's lazy and he doesn't even bother his arse to get back onside in time to not spoil our attacks.

A striker's job is to score. If they do, they've done their job.

The best strikers score once in 2 games, but they're really very rare.

Ameobi has 6 PL goals in 20 starts, 9 goals all competitions in 22 starts. A one in 3 ration, or better if you count the Cup goals.

This isn't a fluke. He has averaged 1 goal in 3 starts over the whole decade of his career. You say he looks lazy ? Let's say you're right ( I don't think you are, but lets assume you are). If he can score 1 in 3 being lazy he earns his keep just as much as someone who scores one in 3 working their socks, or anything else, off.

I know I won't convince you. It is the essence of delusion to be immune from logical persuasion. But you are demonstrably wrong.
