I think Sir Alex always said he is a good a finisher
meanwhile his problem rely on the rest of his technical and mental abilities

that's what i read in today's paper at work, i wouldn't mind him here, he would have fun in his press conferences, also the reason why our former number 1 doesn't want him is because of his baggage that he brings with him, i tend to disagree with him on that, our league would be entertaining again, not to say it isn't.

I would like him as long as he committed himself to the club for a good few years, Don't need him getting bored after a couple of seasons and jumping ship. With all the long term stability we have had with Fergie, the last thing we need is to become like Chelsea and chop and change manager every season. Thats why I'd like Moyes as the next manager, quality stable manager with a long term plan and vision.

That's the thing that bothers me about him, let's say he wins the league 3 seasons in a row, he'll go somewhere else.

Not sure about that tbh - seems that the longer Mourinho remains at a club the worse the situation gets. Chelsea went backwards from 2004 to 2007, and Real are doing similar this season.

If we get Mourinho I'd rather he stayed for two or three seasons, won a load of trophies, then left before he started pissing people off and failing to build a legacy.

Mourinho on whether he could succeed Ferguson at #mufc: "No because we have to end our career at the same time. He at 90, me at 70'

i'm not having it at all, of course he's going to need time to settle at United, you can't expect him to hit it off from the first game of the season, trust me, he's going to be a success with us, i'm sure of it, if he doesn't succeed at Old Trafford, then i'm Messi.

i'm not saying stupid things like that this season, like i've said many times, i won't celebrate until we're on the verge of winning the title or we've already won it.

The Manchester United midfielder has confirmed that the Brazilian press would even like to leave the English club, but it has not been possible. And they asked him for Portugal.

In Manchester United since 2007, when the English club paid 31.5 million euros to FC Porto, the Brazilian Anderson does not hide the desire to play more regularly, something that has been lacking in the red devils. launched by Option Alex Ferguson only in the final minutes against the Real Madrid-Manchester United for the Champions League, the former FC Porto did not hide the Brazilian press who would like to play more often, to be able to aspire to a place in the national team.

"Selection? Selection is always good," he said, despite having little hope of being summoned by Luiz Felipe Scolari. Faced by Brazilian journalists with the possibility of returning to Portugal, Anderson said - with a Portuguese accent, said the Globoesporte - since there much to try to quit Manchester United. "What can I say I have three more years of contract, I tried to leave several times and never got it," he said.

I hope this ain't true, i would like hi to stay with us, he's been good for us this season and injury has disrupted his season as well, if he can stay clear of that, we'll have a world-class player on our hands.

Links not working for me? Maybe it's some fabricated story or taken out of context so they took it down? Didn't he sign a new contract a year or two ago? Don't get why Anderson would sign a new lengthy contract and then ask to leave. If he were to leave he'd either go back to Brazil or Portugal and Portugal is probably the only place he could get European football u less he was will to moving to Eastern Europe. So he must know this is probably the highest level of football he'll most likely play in his career.

No, matth just posted a broken link:

    http://www1.skysports.com/football/...admits-he-has-tried-to-leave-club-many-times-

The story itself is yet another bit of sensationalism based on a dodgy translation. Anderson was interviewed in Portuguese, asked if he could ever return to Portugal, and replied that he had tried to leave to get 1st team football, but always decided to stay, and that SAF says he has a future at Utd.

Typical tabloid, goal.com and SSN bollocks

    Figured. <laugh>

He'd get first team football if he could stay fit. Not that he's not good enough, just he's never available.
