OK PL you got my attention....you mentioned dear old SB3............. Mate you guys never learn do you.....just the same as our lot over SB3. You bite and bite until it is a slanging match. Even on the old 606 Ducky used to have the Pompey fans reeling. In truth though he was never personal and I can see he has a lot more respect for Pompey than he is given credit for. That just my opinion and not a discussion point....<laugh>

Dear oh dear, I think all this court nonsense is getting to you. "The way he said it" doesn't make sense when it's the written word. How can you tell in which "way I said it". I would say that your post should have read "it's not what was written, but who wrote it". Had another of the Few written it I'm sure you would have discussed the merits of the post without resorting to insults.

We were bankrolled and thank you for backing up my point that because we were bankrolled, we were clearly not going to be below you for very long.Hense the rivalry would remain. Now I think there's more chance of going to the moon in a shoebox than you being in the same league as us. How on earth are you going to compete, the only way you've managed to do so in the past 50 years is by financially doping for a decade, the results we can see now.

Personally , I look upon yourselves as my Everton supporting mate does to Tranmere.

Correct, I turn the other cheek when receiving personal abuse from my Pompey friends. And as I posted earlier, I do love and respect the Blue Few (especially the 280, that went to Hartlepools to watch the historic 0-0 draw)

Did you have a bad experience involving a ginger kid or something? Because frankly this remark, and the ones you made about women the other day, make me inclined to agree with PL.

What's that got to do with anything?

Have you a ginger chick? You seem a bit sensitive.

Oh you're being pedantic now, you know what I meant. The difference is, you have a history of being a WUM and calling our fans plastics and harping on about attendances and calling people jobsworths, etc, and as I said, that's going to subconsciously affect someone's view of your posts. It's like when a player dives a lot which means subconsciously, referees are likely to have that impact their decision making so they are less likely to get a genuine penalty decision in their favour. If you didn't have such a reputation, I probably wouldn't have insulted you. My feelings were not just based on that particular posts but based on previous experience as well. It's like why you guys react badly when GMI makes one of his smurf accounts.

And if you genuinely respect Portsmouth fans, then fair play to you. I find that surprising, but that's good to know.

    Nonsense PL.

I called one bloke who was a jobsworth a jobsworth and one bloke who posts from his armchair a plastic. Quite clearly if you lot are going to go around calling yourselves the best fans in the world, and the PST figures involve a break even attendance figure that is fanciful, then questioning your gates is surely a debate to be had.

You are the most ill informed person I've ever talked to when it comes to the PST bid.

"Administrator Trevor Birch told Telegraph Sport on Tuesday that he was proceeding with the PST bid, and said the trust had the money to complete the deal if the court gave approval."

The break even gate figure is being restructered to fit L2. And even still whislt still in admin we are still hitting the break even figure for L1.

Oh my great giddy aunt, not this again <doh>

Please, give us some examples of where we go around calling ourselves the best fans in the world.

And a bit of hyperbole from the PST (they're trying to motivate people to give financial support, marketing in general is full of hyperbole) or our players doesn't count.

Unfortunetely Lapras there are 1 or 2 of our own that call ourselves the best in the world. Then again there is also Ronaldinho, Theirry Henry, The Derby and Donny Chairmen and many more.

Ironically its the stripeys that consitently call us the "best fans in the universe".

    Nonsense.

Birch is desperately trying to find someone else, why else would he jump straight into bed with Harris.

The revenue the PST projected from the cups, turned out to be wrong this season.

The trust will not even realise how many pledges have been converted. The council loan is based on the repayments being made out of the PP, yet these were earmarked to pay the football creditors, hence the PFA getting involved now. The trusts valuation of Fratton is laughable, what happens when the judge decides it's nearer Chanari's figure?

How long have the trust been "ready to go"?

They don't have a pot to piss in, still I bet you paid your 1k didn't you?

WOW , I'd love you to post it. Post where these people called you "the best fans in THE WORLD".

It's laughable, forget Boca, forget Barca, forget Celtic, Rangers, Utd, Liverpool, the best fans in the world are at a club that cant even get 15,000.

Dear o Dear, you wonder why I take the piss...........

You're joking right? As much as I'm fond of it, Fratton Park's a dump. It's small, the concourse has basically nothing there and the acoustics for the PA system in the upper stands are terrible (though for some reason they weren't playing the music very loudly) plus the view from the upper stands is pretty rubbish with poles blocking your view all over the place. No way is it worth anything near what Chainrai's asking for.

Well yes but 1 or 2 silly people can hardly be seen as representing all our fans.

Indeed. The myth that we call ourselves the best fans in the universe is propagated far more often by Southampton fans than by us actually claim to be the best fans in the universe.

We'll post it right after you post where we seriously claim to be the best fans in the world.

To be fair to PL, I also find LD's hypocrisy mindblowing. It pains him, he says, but he doesn't hesitate to throw insults in the direction of Pompey.

Away from that subject, any of the Southern sides could rise to become our fiercest rivals. At the moment, Reading look to be the more obvious candidates, simply because they are set up to do so. They are also being financed by another Russian who seems to have considerable sums of money. Brighton are in a good position aswell, but there's no reason why even less glamourous clubs like Swindon or AFC Bournemouth couldn't try to compete. Yes, they are nowhere near, but what the future holds is in nobody's hands in particular, certainly not ours to decide.

On the subject of whether Portsmouth could be our rivals again, they have one single thing going for them - legacy. Luckily for those that have tasted success, however distant, this counts for a lot with investors, who often believe in restoring a rundown club's fortunes. Clubs with history have it for a reason - they have the historical fanbase to help it along. And whilst Portsmouth's fanbase is reaching its core level, there was a time when they used to have a regular 35-40,000 plus at Fratton Park. But that was generations ago, and perhaps they'll never come back. Whatever happens, if Pompey are to rise again and become fierce rivals, they are going to need a new stadium to house those potential crowds. Difficult to see at this time. No, they aren't the best candidates. But who knows..?

You're completely ignoring the context of that banner despite the fact that it's staring you in the face. Essentially it's a marketing tool, marketing Portsmouth to potential owners, and marketing is full of hyperbole. Haven't you ever seen the hyperbole reviewers use for films or music CDs? So in short, that doesn't count.

In the words of Ellie Goulding, when it comes to Portsmouth, anything could happen!

You don't often make me laugh Ducky - but I have to say this comment will keep me chuckling for many hours now.

£12m - £18m for Fratton Park, or as you all like to call it "Falling Down Park"/"Nottarf Krap" - with no access as the perimeter ground has now been purchased by ANOther - oh yeah some judge really is going to decide that <laugh> <laugh> <laugh>

Birch wants Harris because it means no court case. No court case means Chanrai is happy and PKF don't get sued by them.

"Administrator Trevor Birch told Telegraph Sport on Tuesday that he was proceeding with the PST bid, and said the trust had the money to complete the deal if the court gave approval. He confirmed that he had recommended Harris’s rival offer to creditors before the Football League stepped in, largely because it would not require High Court approval. "

The revenue from the cups was based on the PST being front runners. When the figures were sent of they were, 3 days later Chanrai tiwsts the knife. As such this is the only mistake the PST have made.

The trust have had 75% of pledges converted thus far. 2.5 mil in escrow, made up of 1mil from the HNWI and the other 1.5mil coming from fan pledges. The PP add up to more than the footie creditors and for repayment tothe council for the loan.

The trusts valuatin is based on 5 INDEPENDANT valuation of the ground minus the surrounding land as that is now owned by the club. Chanrai's is based on a figure that has been twisted more times than a rollercoaster.

The trust have been ready to go since Novermber the 15th, the date of the 1st court case. Whilst the postponements are a somehat inconvenience, they have allowed the bid to progress and become stronger. (Owning the ground from day 1, more pledges being converted etc etc).

I cannot afford a 1k pledge however like 000's of other I have joined syndicates.
