    Is anyone from here going and if so what's the day out like and ticket prices?

    I've done ascot a few times but to be honest it's all a bit ponsy if you ask me

    I'm going on the Tuesday. Never been to Gold Cup day itself. If you're not a huge aficionado and just want a good day out I'd go on one of the other days. Go for the Tatersalls ticket- £40 on the Tuesday or £55 on Gold Cup day.

    Not going this year but I usually do, its a great few days. Much prefer the jumps to the flat, both the racing and the clientele.
