taff very well said.....if gendros doesnt understand the question then how can he be qualified 2 answer ps yep malky would go for a better job if offered and who could blame him........does anybody think mickey loudrop would think twice of ****ting on the jacks like them before him,if something better was offered .....god today gone tomorrow
.....god today gone tomorrow --------------------------------------------- Bit like their mods Aber. Comedy gold over there.
you dont say ITIRAN, its got to be the most embarrassingly run forum on the internet, every week theres a witch hunt of some kind, a new mod, a few banning orders, and knackered jack returning in a new guise after saying he'd never return.....
Well at least it's never boring , considering of what you may eventually achieve this season this place is like a morgue
If we have to fill our board with childish **** like the stuff mentioned above to impress, I'll take what we've got.
It's not so stupid when you consider that it's the likely outcome! I mean most managers that take teams up get sacked, very few move up like Martinez and Rodgers, and no doubt Laudrup too, but managers at Swansea are made from a very successful production line, something you've yet to achieve, I'll remind you of this point when MM is looking perplexed for answers to your continued whippings!................
Where did I mention 'established PL'? and where did I mention the 'huge gap'? take it from me, your going to be the new whipping boys on the PL block, for sure, your game is not technical enough for anything else, other than propping up the Premiership table!..........
But the thread is clearly related to whether he would walk. Nothing is mentioned about being sacked. Of course it is likely any manager failing to produce at an level faces the sack. So stick to answering the question the thread raised.
Exactly Taff. The thread was nothing to do about managers getting sacked - it was purely asking if Malky would do the historical Jack thing and walk away. Looks like Phyllis can't even read posts properly except when it suits. Never mind Phyllis - better luck next time.
On news today that Laudrup is about to start contract negotiations at Swans. Huw, practical as ever, wants a new contract in place so if others come calling for Laudrup then he can command a substantial fee. In fairness Phil has a point about the quality of our team and what is needed in the Prem. I think we discussed this a couple of weeks ago where it was generally agreed that we had 5 to 7 players of Prem quality but will need to make a number of higher quality signings to enable us to survive at that level. I can see us having to change our style of play as well as what we are doing appears to be working well at this level but it would be one hell of a risk playing the same way in the Prem, were we to get there, of course.
It's good to see that old sparkey hasn't lost any of his dullness (he'll be needing it when you come up), so let me spell it out for a few misguided souls on here, 'Malkie won't jump ship, because he'll be pushed' now is that plain enough for you, and it's on topic, so stop crowing taffthefish, he'll be walking the plank soon enough, mark my words, should you end up being the whipping boys, which I think your likely to be, unless of course you can improve, your possession stats, because if you can't keep the ball, you'll get murdered. Blue has it spot on, but it's not just a case of getting in the extra 5 or 6 prem players, as QPR found out, it's about the technical ability of the team, look at where Reading, Villa, and QPR have been all season? their game is too weak technically, though some of these teams have some really gifted players, it all boils down to your game plan, and will it be good enough, and from what games I've seen of yours, your going to be struggling, just saying. Don't take this the wrong way, but Swansea have been preparing for top flight, for many seasons. And our game is unique, and the reason why we of the three that went up that year are doing the best, if the opposition don't have the ball, they can't hurt you, that's why possession is the real game at the top of the premiership, with pretty much all the route 1 teams languishing at the bottom, only stoke have mastered the rout one in my view. Anyway that's my penny's worth, must say though I'm starting to warm to the idea, of you lot coming up, and seeing how you deal with this issue!...............
I get my moments, ask the pensioner from Porthcawl!...................... please log in to view this image
Bring on the first non English Premier game!! Let's av it (as long as we win of course). Well done on the season so far, the new red franchise team has done you proud. The players/you deserve promotion.. I can't see you blowing it this time. Enjoy the rest of the season, you might forget what winning is like in about 6 months!
Lol. The way our board is run.......... Its not a football team.....we don't have a manager.....you may have a dictatorship over here, but all of us have a say on our board. Wait, didn't you have a say on who became your moderators? Yes. Yes, you did. As for ml leaving, how could you possibly know he'd jump ship. You don't. Simple.
